Can we please stop with the notion that Frost won't leave UCF because he has integrity. Implying that coaches leaving Group of Five jobs for better jobs is due to a lack of integrity is dumb. Do Tom Herman or P.J. Fleck lack integrity? Did Bob Devaney lack integrity for leaving Wyoming to coach at Nebraska? How about Frank Solich for leaving a high school job to coach college football? If Frost leaves UCF, it has nothing to do with integrity.6 points

Would that be the upside down world? Say hey to Dart for me.4 points

I thought "fit" mattered. I just can't see Chip/Leach. I've bought into Moos, and I think he's smart enough to know that neither one is a good fit here.4 points

Steve Spurrier is what I'm glad Tom Osborne is not and even as an AD in my recollection was never like.3 points

No it wouldn't. He is being questioned about all the open jobs (and some not open) in college football. The only answer he can give right now is his commitment to his team and future at UCF because that is where he is currently under a multi year contract. If he leaves under good terms, no one should question his integrity. Also, I highly doubt you know him or his true character.3 points

As I've said before, if you don't like this thread there are plenty of other threads for you to peruse. It is not necessary to drop in just to take pot shots.3 points

Funny how people demanded Diaco speak to the media and now they don't like what he is saying3 points

Nate Clouse said he’s been told that Moos could throw a curve ball and go a different direction from Frost. He has heard that Chip Kelly and Mike Leach will be considered.3 points

Not just sports—it’s in every aspect of our lives. Frankly, if this country and its citizens truly valued the contributions these vets make, they would: a) hold politicians accountable for the sorry state of the VA and put money/resources into it to make it a shining example of how well we treat our veterans b) Pass laws allowing service members full rights at age 18 to drink, smoke, view porn, or anything else behind an archaic, ill-conceived age firewall. If you’re old enough to die for your country, you’re old enough to enjoy it fully I had a c) reason, but I’m tired.3 points

I couldn't agree with this more. On a personal level, I'm proud of my service, but I cringe so hard when I get that reaction. It's a relatively new phenomenon, or at least it seems so to me. I don't remember anyone ever giving me the "thanks for your service tongue bath" until a few years after 9/11. It's gotten to the point where I never mention the fact that I served around other people just to avoid it. With regards to OP, the level of jingoistic nonsense that all has been insinuated into sports at all levels (even my young kids' rec leagues ffs) annoys me profoundly.3 points

Gasp! Jessica0 is really Scott Frost's agent pitting the fan bases against each other to pressure the ADs into a bidding war! It's brilliant.2 points

I guarantee you that a whole lot of men in Alabama who like those 'Rules for dating my daughter' emails/posts are going to vote for a guy that should have his own rule on the list.2 points

1. Scott Frost is 100% going to be coach at Nebraska. 2. Scott Frost is 100% going to be the coach at Florida. 3. Steve Spurrier is leading the coaching search at Florida, and has reached out to Frost and come to agreeable terms and an announcement will be coming as soon as possible. 4. Tom Osborne is leading the coaching search at Nebraska, and has reached out to Frost and come to agreeable terms and an announcement will be coming as soon as possible.2 points

That radio guy is a Florida alum. I love how people freak out about Frost and UF on a daily basis.2 points

Chip Kelly to Florida and Scott Frost to Nebraska would bring a lot of excitement for both schools. How awesome would it be if these two schools met for a playoff game? The ratings would go through the room.2 points

Something else to consider here. I find it very hard to believe Bill Moos and UNL chancellor would be making comments on Scott Frost right now and risk getting egg on their face if they were not talking with him already and feel good they will come to an agreement.2 points

Yeah I guess I don’t get it.... non paid non Nebraska site. So not competing and not circumventing any cash flow... why wouldn’t we be able to see a link? That’s like saying someone has been chronicalling the Nebraska coach search on Wikipedia... and saying we can’t post a link to Wikipedia. I mean rules are rules but seems silly.2 points

I think Bo had a certain charisma and powerful personality that Osborne was drawn to. He was a fiery personality and seemed to have a good sense of humor. He hadn't gone into full a-hole mode yet. He was a much different guy in 2007, than he was in 2013 and 2014.2 points

Purdue went into the Nebraska game ranked 84th in rushing offense, and Northwestern went into the NU game ranked 102nd. Both teams got quite a boost by playing NU.2 points
