  1. How many commits does Pruitt have? Also we stole their QB.

  4. McShane showed up to PBA last night wearing a Jayhawks Jersey. He deserved to be let go for that reason alone

  5. You mean an overhyped “movement” that produced players who haven’t done much on the field yet and may not ever do anything in Cornhusker red, and their savior-coach got fired in the meantime?

  6. His clips on Hudl show him at QB, WR, DB, and taking some end arounds. It feels like a Jamal Turner situation where we will give him a shot at QB, but with this kind of ATH, you just want to get him on campus and see where he can help.

  7. Probably been talked about multiple times on here but important to note again that he is a 3 year guy since he used a redshirt.

  8. One of the most fun games I have been to. Definitely hope they were there. Someone also needs to point out to them that Nebraska fans pretty much sold out two arenas last night between volleyball and basketball. Truly some commitment to our teams.

  10. I mean, first of all, there isn't even such thing as a free market in the first place. The entire thing is a total non-existent myth. But let's be very clear about the language we use - net neutrality is an unregulated internet. If we get rid of it, that is a regulated internet - regulated by ISP's who monopolize connections. The government keeping net neutrality laws is keeping the internet freely (not financially speaking) accessible, it is not imposing anything on the internet. This should be a perfect example of what good government's role is from a conservative perspective, but too many conservatives have no idea what the idea even means anymore.

  13. NOT SAYING THIS ABOUT KJJ, but wanted to throw this out. What I really liked about Frost (paraphrase) that he wanted the kids o go home and enjoy Christmas. That when they get back it's time to go to work and work they will. For those who want to work and get after it, it will be the most fun they've had playing football. For those that don't, it will be different........ Every year we hear about the workouts were the hardest, best shape blah, blah, blah.....I really believe that Frost and Co will be putting the foot to the gas and this could possibly tun out to be a team that is a mirror image of our glory years. NOT IN PRODUCTION, per say, but in effort, intensity and work ethic. Those who buy in will excel, those who don't will probably opt out....

  14. Yep, plus we have one of the best setters in the country committed to us in Niklin Hames. She will be here this summer working with the team. Between Atherton and her, we will be fine IMO.

  15. Down to Mizzou and Nebraska. Hasn't decided whether or not to sign in the early period or not.

  16. Dude. It’s sunday at 5:45. Check back and see when our commits were from last weekend. Quit implying negativity.

  18. I think the only thing that bothered people about your post is that you said he wanted to be here "more than anybody." That includes every other Husker who's ever been here. The ones who never got into any trouble, the ones who never got to play in a game but stayed, the ones who paid to be here when they had a scholarship offer elsewhere, the ones who did get into trouble but fixed things, etc. I think if you hadn't used that wording no one would've been arguing with you about it. He did seem like he was trying to get back to Nebraska.

  19. Signing Wednesday. Deciding between us and Louisville. He's a QB recruit for us

  20. With all due respect to Bookie... he won't be playing at whatever school he chooses in 2021

  21. I would think Camron Jones and Katerian Lagrone will both commit, but not sure who else could this weekend.

  22. Mike Riley had quite an impressive list of visitors over the last couple years too. Doesn’t matter if you can’t reel them in.

  23. This is true. But Atherton doesn't need to be great, just good, and she entered the program as one of the best setters in the country two years ago. She was not at her best in the VERT Challenge this year, but another year of practice, this time running the show with the 1's, should have her good enough to be a competent replacement for Hunter.

  26. Yhe thing is, when/if a coup really happens in the US, it will come from the right after being motivated by messages drilled into them by groups like Fox News, Brietbart and Infowars.

  27. It's been a good couple sports months for Nebraska. Football hires Scott Frost who immediately starts recruiting. Basketball has gone toe-to-toe with 3 ranked/nearly ranked team, including Kansas, and now volleyball is bringing home a 2nd national title in 3 years. Go Big Red!

  29. So you can claim to know one thing for sure but when someone else claims the opposite you say there's no way they can know that. Seems legit.

  30. That's how you get him to never want to come here

  31. @ScottyIce, nope. I have always let Frosty make his own decisions. I know how hard he works. Always has. Still hopeful here and our LB coach should be more then enough "sell" to any LB recruit. I enjoyed the jab and humor ScottyIce! :-)

  33. What's most baffling to me is when people try to use modern rules and modern offenses to justify our poor defenses. All those teams ranked above us play against modern offenses as well!

  34. According to his Athletic.net page, he's a sub-22 second 200 meter guy and was on their 6A state championship 4 x 100 meter relay which was clocked at 40.14 seconds. For comparison, the all-time, all-class Nebraska record is 41.40 seconds. 1.26 seconds is neigh on an eternity in sprinting. Also a pretty decent long and triple jumper. Pretty fair athlete, I'd say.

  35. I also said that if Frost wanted him here....prior to the quoted...... If Frost said, no, I commend both parties for keeping it quiet and professional. Have you seen anything that it Frost said he wasn't welcome? That KJJ was desperate to come here? That he didn't choose to leave o his own? Then that's the same assumption. Bottom line, he isn't coming here. Either by choice or design. If he didn't want to be here, fine. If Frost didn't think he'd fit in, fine....

  36. Looks like he could contribute right away. We are recruiting some mean DB's.

  37. Wonder if he could play a hybrid LB/S position. Hate to turn away a prospect like him or Cam Jones.
