Huskerboard.com respects your privacy, and we are committed to protecting your privacy.

If you visit any of our Websites (collectively, the ďSitesĒ) and/or access the services offered by us, we have designed our system to protect your privacy. Our system will be able to ascertain your geographic location from your IP address, but we do not collect IP addresses or e-mail addresses, and we do not track the sites that you access while you use our services unless (i) we are required to do so by law; (ii) we have reason to believe that you have violated the terms and conditions of Huskerboard.comís policies; (iii) you have caused or attempted to cause harm to us or the other users of our Sites; and/or (iv) you voluntarily provide us with personal information (as described below).

Two types of information may be collected when you visit our Sites:

Personal and Company information, (such as name, address, telephone number, e mail address, social security number, credit card numbers, or credit information) which is only collected by us if you voluntarily submit it to us. For example, if you voluntarily register with us or place an order with or through us, we will receive the registration information that you submit so that we can better ensure that you are receiving the information, products or services that you requested; and

Aggregate information, automatically collected non-identifying statistics, (such as information about how many visitors log on to the Sites). Our servers will collect third party sites, and information from these sites, from your use of the Sites. Huskerboard.com uses this information to measure the use of our Sites, to improve the content of our Sites, and to provide our users with the best possible services.

In sum, you can visit our Sites without telling us who you are or revealing personal information about yourself. However, you can, if you choose, participate in additional secured applications. For access to these applications, you are required to complete a registration or order form with us. This form includes information such as name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We use this information to enhance our services, to better meet the needs and preferences of our customers, and to enhance the security of our Sites. We may also from time to time, send information to registered users about system changes or new products that we think may be of interest.

Huskerboard.com does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide services that you have requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We may transfer information about you if Huskerboard.com is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Huskerboard.com will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Use of the Huskerboard.com Software

Huskerboard.com is a public medium of communication. We provide a forum that allows members to post their thoughts, pictures, videos and related material. Huskerboard.comís software system includes, but is not limited to, a message board, an in-site Personal Messenger system and an email system; other capabilities may be added and this document will apply to those capabilities as well. The use of any Huskerboard.com software system is governed by the Rules to which members must agree to complete registration. While Huskerboard.com is not responsible for the content submitted by members, we also strive to provide a forum that is accessible, civil, and lawful. To that end, Huskerboard.com can and will access membersí communications through, and use of, the software system. In the case of the Personal Messenger or emails systems, Huskerboard.com will only review messages when Huskerboard.com has grounds to suspect that the system is being misused. We respect member privacy and will only take this step when proof is required to make a decision as to whether the software system is being misused. In most, but not all, cases, this would occur from an allegation of misuse.

To maximize membersí privacy these actions will be recorded & securely logged by the owners of Huskerboard.com, but will not be shared with anyone unless legally compelled to do so, such as complying with a court order.

Cookies

We may also collect cookies. Cookies are small files of information that are stored on your computer's hard drive by your Web browser. The cookies we use do not contain any personal information. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change the preferences of your browser so that it does not accept them. We provide links to a number of third-party external sites. Data Security

Huskerboard.com is committed to online data security, and for that reason we take steps to make all information received from you online as secure as reasonably possible from unauthorized access and use. Huskerboard.comís secure server software uses industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL encodes your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, as it travels over the Internet so that all transactions are secure.

Unauthorized access is prohibited and punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.

Childrenís Privacy

We believe that protecting the privacy of children is especially important, and for that reason it is our intention to never collect or maintain information from children at our Sites.

Your Consent

By using our Sites, you consent to the collection and use of this information in the manner we describe.

Modifications

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy in whole or in part, we will post a notice on our Sites. Those changes will go into effect on the date indicated in the notice and will apply to all users of our Sites.
