  1. This won't even phase Rhule. This is nothing compared to the issues and PR nightmare he inherited when he took the job at Baylor.
  2. TO's 25 year run will never be matched. He may not have won as many National Titles in that time frame, but he was the fastest coach in history to 250 wins and I don't ever forsee that record falling. You'd have to coach for 25 seasons averaging 10 wins, never faltering for 25 years straight. He finished in the AP Top 10 18 out of his 25 seasons coached. He never finished outside of the top 25 for 25 straight years! Put that into perspective, and it's mind blowing what TO did here it Nebraska.
  3. Are you kidding? Orgeron a turd? I'd take him any day over Riley and twice on Saturdays. Give me a break. He's 6-2 playing SEC competition, Riley might have a 2-6 record if he were at LSU playing that level of competition.
  4. I think Tre Bryant will bring a explosiveness to the position that we haven't seen for quite some time. I'd like to see our fullbacks get utilized more too.
  5. So what defines a "real fan?" You can blindly support a team and enable the administration that has caused this debacle, or you can start voting with your wallets and purses and let it be known that the current state of Nebraska football is 100% unacceptable. I love my daughter unconditionally and want her to grow up to be a responsible adult. That means there are consequences for her actions, and these are the result of my love for her. In the same vein, if you love Cornhusker football and want it to succeed, you cannot support the current state of affairs at the University. There are a ton of fingers to point: Pelini is gone and Perlman is on his way out. That leaves Eichorst and Riley, and changes must be made. If Riley returns next year with an unchanged staff, you can rest assured that myself as well as many others in #huskernation are going to start holding this administration accountable by not blindly supporting poor choices with our donations, ticket sales, and merchandise sales.
  6. Poor play calling again, we needed to stretch the field vertically to open things up.
  7. Maybe this could would appease Mr. Ackerman from Milford. It could be the new Tunnel Walk song...
  8. Let's put this in perspective. Miles took the Mens BBall team to the big dance, but lost in the first round. There was no conference championship, we were abysmal in road games this year, and he just had three players leave/transfer from the program. I'm not discounting what Miles has done with the program, but in comparison, a similar season for the football program would be considered a complete and utter failure. The two programs simply cannot be compared to one another, apples and oranges.
  9. Muschamp is on very thin ice and it was obvious he had a considerable hand in dictating the drab O Pease ran. Don't see why Beck would take that job. The ice has melted and Muschamp is walking on water. Only Jesus himself could survive a season like that in Florida.
  10. Rumor has it Del Rio was the first choice, but he wouldn't allow an announcement until Denver's season is over. Hayden feared the impact that would have on recruiting and thus took Del Rio out of contention for the job.
  11. Urban Meyer had a 7-5 campaign with Florida in the SEC after Tebow left.
