  1. 600+ yards of offense, hope this is a sign of things to come. Amazing Day!
  2. Hey I BLEED RED, What is it exactly that you're going to do to hold Coach Callahan accountable? Have you seen the schedule this year? You're a typical keyboard warrior. What is your idea for gameplanning for each opponent? Anything short of 10 wins huh? I'd love to get 10 wins with this schedule, so would most husker fans. Is there a season in which we haven't seen improvement during coach's regime? You're a typical pile, giving coaches a slingshot leash, and expecting national championships overnight. Let me hear your recruiting & coaching philosophy considering the mess Coach stepped into. Sorry Mods, this has obviously been beaten to death. Bring your A-game in this argument "I BLEED RED", there are coaches reading this board. You're a typical armchair qb, lynch em' quick. Ask Josh Williams, he's played for me. Think recruits love threads like this?
  3. This is absolutly amazing. this is so much better than Sirius....right on
  4. Something about this one is special...nice job!!!!!
  5. LJS is reporting Mo is suspended indefinately.
  6. What reason? I must've missed the part of that article where it said he was found not guilty. Could you please point it out for me? Exactly. Generally coming to a settlement/arrangement/agreement out of court is an admission to some degree of guilt and just taking the lumps without the drawn out legal process. So if you and bugeater were in a fight at a bar you should get suspended from work. What would be your punisment? That's a stupid analogy. Being on the Nebraska football team is a privilege, not a job. He's not saying it's right, but he and the poster above him are making valid points.
  7. ETR & TXDRW have reviewed hours of film and have decided to provide our own "star" ranking as follows: 1. Baker Steinkuhler: 5 stars. Period. ETR and I have discussed the level of competition (NE vs. TX) and the conclusion was: Baker dominates anytime anyone anywhere. The physical attributes he brings to the table would allow him to be dominant at the high school level anywhere in the country. Great feet, pad level is decisive, he is coming with bad intentions and finishes consistently. Would like to catch a glimpse of him at a summer session to see some pass pro. 2. Bryce Givens: solid 4 star. Tenacious, film clips show range of diverse blocks. Run blocks show defenders bouncing off him, dishes out contact consistently, doesn't just absord blockers. He's a prick on the field, reminiscent of Incognito, minus the spitting. Q: Agreed ETR? A: YES! (as his attention fades to the Girls Gone Wild commercial in the background). 3. Trevor Robinson: 3 star, sniffing a 4th. Nearly every attribute that a pipeliner needs, but he isn't in Baker's category at this point. Q: Are you back in the fold ready to analyze ETR? A: Do you have any more pizza? ETR's now back...as a high school player not as strong, fast, or as quick as a high school player as Baker, but that can change. 4. Dan Hoch: solid 3 star. Great size, has the weight, wait till Wags gets ahold of him. Level of competition is questionable at best, but hey that's out of his control. He's a man among boys on the field, however not as powerful or nasty as some of the others. Just isn't quite as impressive as the others, but hey these guys are still in hs. We are not trying to sound negative at all about any of these guys. As good as they are, it's only natural to point out the few negative things about them. They are all great students, very willing to sit a year to gain strength, learn the playbook. We are very high on all of them, in fact they all seem old school. The look the part and act the part. You can't teach size or tenacity and our program was lacking both for the last few years on the OL. That alone is reason to be excited in Husker Nation. Here's to a great senior season for all of these future Huskers!
  8. I know it's a sign of the times and happens at all major programs, but man, it's tiresome listening to some of these prima donnas. Sack up and earn the job, quit whining.
  9. Nyan is the WR that went to Lincoln HS in New York with Sebastian Telfair and allegedly was a silent commit to the Huskers before choosing the Gators at the Army All American Bowl (Lucky's class) on national television. Heard from Eric the Red that he got stabbed in the leg by his girlfriend and then all of the problems started in Gainesville. We're already two deep across the board at WR anyway, but the staff will do what's best. I wonder if he's even considering calling them after what he pulled.
  10. Coaching in Class 4A in Texas taught me two things: 1. Always make sure your horses are healthy for the race 2. Always make sure your horses are healthy for the race Guys are already banged up this late in the year, with the stakes being so high for this weekend's game, you just can't jeopardize losing anyone for it by doing Oklahoma drills. This is a Spring Ball issue.
  11. Just committed to Coach Jordan and the Huskers!!! Welcome to Husker Nation and GBR!!
  12. With AP coming back next week, Sooner Nation has already convinced themselves they've got a W next week. The pressure is now off our backs. This will be a home game, better strap it on Stoops, we're coming with bad intentions.
  13. As much as I hate to admit it, we probably need to get used to this. We have a former OC as our tight ends coach for crying out loud. The minds that we have on this staff are incredible. The fact that Coach Callahan could formulate this kind of coaching staff after the Solich staff firestorm lends credence to the fact that NU never hit bottom and never will.
