  1. Maybe Nebraska should hire someone off of the Nick Saban staff. It seems to work out for many programs who do, Michigan St is a recent relevant example.
  2. Called this commit to Wisconsin back in January. It was the most obvious recruitment result of all time.
  3. Official: Dawson as OLB coach.

We need 14 banners at the top of the page before it's official, k thx.

  4. This thread is for conversation on the recruitment of Bollers. If you are looking for recent posts unrelated to this topic, you will find them here.
  5. If Tommie won the Heisman, I wonder if he would be ranked higher. Accolades beget accolades.
  6. 26 has been the number all along. They signed 24.
  7. There are two open spots for this class still, and that is with Betts and Washington. Those leaves you have might not be tea
  8. Bad Husker takes should be illegal.

But that would shut this place down instantly :dunno

  9. Husker fans have never shied away from the concept of spending money for the program, if it lead to more success. I would guess any efforts that would lead to a competitive advantage for Nebraska will be embraced by the vast majority of Husker Nation.
  10. I noticed during the game. Seems like a trivia topic, but time to get our jimmies in a rustle.
  11. That was disappointing to watch. 2AM looked at a wide open #19 then threw into heavy coverage over the middle leading to a pick.
  12. “The mullet is flowing down the field.”

  13. Luke Griffin? Never heard of him. But, really, cool to see Gifford making plays.
  14. Well, I would argue you are worrying about nothing when you look at the individual recruiting ranks of players from last class under Frost. https://nebraska.rivals.com/commitments/football/2019 Staying on topic (i.e., Nixon), the stigma of UNL sitting in the middle of the cornfield is real and affects national recruiting. That is why nearly every recruit not from Nebraska mentions how surprised they are that Lincoln is an actual city when they visit. Honestly, this is such a common talking point, I am not sure why you feel the need to debate it.
  15. So here is the problem with this image. It depicts the stadium emerging from the middle of a cornfield, which is exactly the stereotype that Nebraska battles against in recruiting. Heck, I won't be surprised if some prospects think that is a real picture. All that context aside, I personally like it. Just may convey the wrong message.
  16. Seems like an equivalent prospect to Watts. This is one of the things that gives this staff good recruiting success. They have multiple options, never being left in the cold when one recruit commits less where.
  17. I got rain water pooling in a 3-inch gap between my shed and a garden plot. Any thoughts how to prevent this?

      Lot of great ideas. Thanks.

@JJ Husker think I will try the perforated pipe with pea gravel. Not sure if the water is draining from the garden or accumulating from direct rain fall, but this idea has potential to resolve both issues.

@huKSer no slope in real life just looks that way in the picture. Everything is even and on flat ground.

@teachercd kids are too old for GI Joe. Otherwise, this could be the site of a great battle. :thumbs

Use some fill dirt and make a mound 3" tall in the middle sloping down to ground level at both ends

Fill with gravel. If it's overflowing, then put in a French drain first.

  18. Since he decommited from OU after taking an OV to A&M, my guess is Nebraska will need to get an OV during the summer and soon.
  19. Frost has been getting wins in-state in many situations where Nebraska was far behind. The early success of this staff lessens the sting of this loss. Good luck to the guy. Time to move on.
