  1. I think you are dead on, except it wasn't a $100,000 fine. It was a $10,000 fine. And it's about damn time someone called the refs out for their crappy calls this year. It may not be the only reason we lost but it is a big reason. I think Callahan has the fire this team needs to win. We will win out the rest of the season or come close. We will end up 8-3 and I'll be damn proud of that. CU won't beat us, they aren't as good as people think they are. Anyway, let's hope for better game calling from the refs the rest of the season.
  2. The state of Misery is an entire state of B******! (I crack myself up sometimes)
  3. No problem, rawhide. I've done that way too many times myself.
  4. Yes. I can atleast link it for you. Here you go: Try this. No offence to rawhide at all, but he split-up the link to the article some how.
  5. 1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? Since I can remember. I was born in Scottsbluff, NE in 1973 2) What/who led you to The Nation? My family. 3) Where are you from originally? As I said above I was born in Scottsbluff, NE 4) Where do you live now? Behind enemy lines, in Loveland, CO 5) Favorite Husker memory? The '95 Orange Bowl of course, TO's first NC. Or the '84 Orange Bowl, going for 2 was amazing. It proved TO was a champion and wouldn't settle for anything less. 6) Worst Husker memory? The '02 Rose Bowl 7) Number of home games attended? only 3 in my 32 years, but my 4th comes on Nov. 12 with KSUcks 8) Number of away games attended? 15 so far, I've seen the Huskers play at almost every other school in the Big XII so far, and I will finish it up in the future. The only plased I haven't been it TU, and Baylor. 9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? My signed Tommie Frazier Husker Helmet, or the football I gave to my Grandfather that was signed by the entire '03 team 10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) At home with my Dad, Uncles, and Grandfather. It used to be both grandfathers untill one of them passed away in '01 11) Favorite all time player? Gill, Rozier, Rodgers, Frazier, Bo Ruud, Crouch, Frost, Berringer...I could go on and on. There are too many great Husker players to name just one. Anyone that's played for my beloved Huskers has been and will always be my favorite. 12) WCO or Option? Either suits me fine, but we are in the WCO now and I believe in that my Huskers can run whatever offense the coaches hand them because they are all champions. 13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? They are both good AD's. 14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? Herbie, but I still like Lil Red. 15) Favorite Husker play? Fumbelrooski, or the TF '96 Firsta Bowl run. 16) Favorite game-day beverage? Beer, Red beer, or Crown and 7 17) How did you find HuskerBoard? (referral source) No referal source, just got lucky with the keyboard.
  6. ...or not. I think he was probably refering to the fact that the Blackshirts have 34 sacks, #1 in the nation, even after 418 offensive plays by their opponents, with no offensive holding calls made by the officials.
  7. That's just nuts. 418 offensive plays with 209 of them being pass plays and not a SINGLE holding call. Wow! I'm impressed with Maine's, WF's, Pitt's, ISU's, TT's, and Baylor's offensive lines discipline. I don't have an answer except one: I don't understand why the ref's are refusing to call holding against NU's opponents.
  8. Thank you Blackshirt, on both counts.
  9. Hey guys. New here. I read this thread and just had to post in it. My picks from toughest to easiest are: 1. @CU, OU, @MU, KSU, @KU 2. 3. 4. 5. What's my point? My point is that there isn't one game left that needs to be over looked or one that will be any easier than another. I'm not saying that you guys are overlooking any team nor am I trying to be disrespectful to what you all are saying, I'm just speaking from my own point of view. Yes there are teams that we face the rest of the season that are better football teams than some others, but we need to focus on one game at a time. And right now it's Mizzou that needs to be focused on. Each and every team we face through the rest of the season will be a tough one on it's own merrit.
