  1. Cautiously optimistic after yesterday on both sides of the ball. I think it was a complete 180 in terms of physicality which is/ was our biggest problem against all the heavy hitters in the league, and to man up against Ohio State - we are on the right track - with a lot of work ahead
  2. They should only bring that music out in the right times - MSU win, and when they played it against Whisky are key examples. I don't think it should be an every game thing to overplay it but if its brought out at the right times, place goes cray cray
  3. Nebraska should never depart from Adidas Adidas > nike/UA/anyone else
  4. LFG Nebraska, Frost, Adidas, Yeezys Makes sense to me
  5. Game changers at qb come up big when it counts & consistently for a majority of a season. The final score is never irrelevant. he threw just over 50% no tds and 2 interceptions that game, let’s not forget about that. Not to mention, take away all those who yards he ran for in that video, how’d he do ? tmac and ta have inflated stats bc they both held the job for 3 years+, and we’re the centerpiece of the offense they both ran.
  6. Remember that score ? better yet, what was his stat line ?
  7. Man after seeing last night, I’m really upset I graduated when Callahan was taking over the regime. Those guys are lucky, hope the relish the opportunity.
  8. I’d take lord, crouch, frost, fraizer, MickeyJo, and Steve Taylor over any qb we’ve had in close to two decades. Tommy was NUs game changer at that time because they built that offense tailored to only his strengths. Obviously if he had a bad game, we’d lose. He won games that without he we may not have, tough as nails, and earns respect for how he played the game. But I’d slow down on the heisman talk. If any of the qbs mentioned above got as many attempts... don’t think their numbers would be close. Also, you can’t tell me you’d take a handful of qbs the big 10 has had over tommy and Martinez during their playing time. Tommy was better than Taylor but let’s slow down with heisman talk here.
  9. It's all about getting the QB that can pull the ball in the zone read at the right time (and having the right play call) to take advantage of what the defense gives them. When the defense is set to stop x, exploit y with a play that looks like x but is complete opposite. Not different from a lot of offenses, but when you spread out with speed on the field - big plays result. I don't think SF ran a high number of only qb run plays. In that sense, so I do think all QBs on the roster outside of Lee can have success with their 10 or less runs a game. Spring is going to be fun. I'll be interested how soon the starter is announced in the fall.
  10. Haven't had a game changer at QB for a long time..... giddy up
  11. I was listening to the Ringer's GM Street this past week, and they brought up SF at Nebraska. Mike Lombardi started talking about the walk on program back when TO was HC, and basically said their walk on's had financial funding for college through sponsorships from different entities (not being the university) in the state. Any knowledge about this or is Lombardi just blowing smoke ?
