  1. It makes me sad to read this thread. I am 32 and a season ticket holder. You can be loud and not stand up. Nothing wrong with yelling from your seat. The older folks are the reason we have the facilities that draw the players here. They are the ones making the donations for the season tickets. I know it is expensive, but it is hard for me to read all of this disrespect toward the fans that have been with us for years. When I take my older father with me to the game he can't stand up the whole game but wants to be there in person to watch. I should not have to tell him to stay home. Please remember we will all be older one day and I don't know about you but I will still want to go to husker games!
  2. If you don't have a parking pass and don't have to tailgate can you suggest a place to start looking for parking spots? Also, wanting to see the memorial while on campus. Where is that located?
  3. Todd Peterson, more than I could have expected out of the guy for his career. Great story!
  4. If you look at the YTD statistics for Peterson, he has 58 catches and 2 rushes (2 backward pass receptions) for a total of 60. Swift has also finished the regular season with 60 catches. Pretty amazing stuff.
  5. Todd Peterson will probably move into the top 5 in both receptions and yards for his career. This gets overlooked on occassion with the great things that Nate has done. Not trying to take away from what Nate has done, but Todd is going to be in the record book as well. In addition, between the two of them, whoever finishes with the most catches this year (right now nate is ahead by about 4) they will set the single season reception record.
  6. Anybody have any suggestions where we can get 2 rooms for Saturday night in Lincoln? We drove bacek to Omaha last week and we got in about 1:30 AM. We were hoping not to do that this week. I know it is short notice and we have called over 10 places with no luck. Thanks, TP
  7. This should work..... http://today.sportingnews.com/sportingnews...1&u1=friend
  8. Todd Peterson is one of several college players writing articles for the sporting news website this year. His first one is up now. Use the link below and then search Todd Peterson..... Use this link: http://today.sportingnews.com/sportingnews...id=TJooRxLFtTTx
  9. Here from a good source that the captains that picked the teams were as follwos: Ganz and Dillard Peterson and Turner
  10. Good luck in your quest for row 60. You can contact the athltic department/ticket office and they have a map of the stadium that shows you today's market value to move seats. I have 2 seats in North and 2 seats in West stadium. In order to move and get 4 together, I have to pay today's market price compared to the market price of my original tickets. They were able to email me the map but those numbers sound about right.
  11. http://www.huskers.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB...=22&SPSID=1 Great job in representing the University of Nebraska!
  12. is Todd Peterson..... Congratulations Todd!!! http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB...;ATCLID=1245342
  13. As someone who has a personal interested in watching how much Todd plays, I can say he DID get alot of playing time. I would say if you looked at the percentage of plays he was on the field, this is probably the highest to date. What seems to get overlooked sometimes, is he is in on alot of running plays where he doesn't get the ball or in the 3 or 4 receiver sets and Keller looks another direction. I have been told he is one of the only receivers that understands all 3 of the receiving positions (X, Y, Z) and that is what helps him stay on the field as he can shift between them. Great job Todd, way to keep working through the whole game!!
  14. More on Todd..... http://www.theindependent.com/stories/0810...rsfbnotes.shtml Let's hope he can get back on the field today. His smarts make up for some of the lack of big play ability. Rumor has it, he is the only WR on the team that knows all 3 positions. Many have trouble learning one (see Chris Brooks). Kind of like the sound of Coach Peterson...
  15. Check out Todd being listed at number 9. Great opportunity for him this year to play a big role. I am very excited for him to hit the field. http://collegefootball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=699007
