  1. Yeah, trying to compare any defensive lineman to Suh is probably pointless. He simply overwhelmed college lineman with strength and speed that can't be taught. I would like to see a shakeup though. I think a message needs to be sent after one poor and another embarrassing defensive performance.
  2. Did they rush the field? I had to go to work and left with 2 minutes left in the game. Just curious if beating Nebraska still means anything these days? Never thought I'd miss the days when fans would rush the field and party uncontrollably when we got beat.
  3. Yes, that's it. We're all happy Tmart stunk and we lost.. You got it big guy. Or, what happened is exactly what myself and others predicted would happen. Here, let me recap what I claimed in the other thread where you called me and others ignorant about the game. lets see, I talked about him fumbling - check I talked about him getting flustered in the pocket and taking sacks - check I even talked about him throwing an interception to a linebacker - check I claimed his best asset, his feet, wouldn't be nearly as effective against more athletic defenses - check I said he would make bad decisions in the zone read - check And, in the end, instead of manning up and admitting you were wrong. You make another ridiculous thread lashing out at others because what we said would happen, did happen.
  4. I'm not much of a twitter guy. Barely even know how it all works. But I was following the conversations and came across Aaron Greene's twitter account and after the game his cousin tweeted to him "hold your head up man" and he replied "IDK man"... IDK meaning I don't know of course. (for those of us not into the lingo) So, he's responding with that after a game where his team got destroyed and he didn't get a single carry. Man, bo needs to get that locker room together quickly. Sounds like he has some rather disenchanted young men on his team.
  5. I think Carl's comments of "this feels like year one" explains it. They are coaching the same things Bo and Carl coached in year one. But much like year one, he has a group of guys that are not yet understanding what it is they're coaching. Might be a coaching issue in the sense that in the future, you need to make sure you're spending enough time coaching up next years starters and not only focusing on this year's team.
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Bo a top notch coordinator before he was hired as our head coach. Great coordinators don't always make great head coaches. We're in too deep to turn back now as far as I'm concerned. If not, we just become another Notre Dame where if you don't get us to a BCS in four years or less you're done. I agree. I mentioned "top notch coordinator" because the OP said we couldn't get Bo's equivalent in here. Well, what Bo is is a top notch defensive coordinator with a huge question mark still around his head coaching ability. I don't think Nebraska would have any problem getting a "Bo equivalent". Not that we should try.
  7. Um, why would no one "his equal" touch this program? The list of top notch Coordinators in the country that would LOVE to take the head coaching job at Nebraska is endless. Heck, the list of head coaches at non BCS schools that would love to take this job is probably over 90%. I don't want Bo fired, but it makes no sense to think that if Bo were fired at the end of this year, we'd be next in line after Ohio st. in getting the top candidate available.
  8. Bo is staring down a wasted season in the face and the only one that should get thrown under a bus is him. And I'm a big fan of his. BUT He hitched this team and threw all his chips on the table with Martinez as QB when it should have been clear last year Martinez would never become a quality FBS QB. Priority number 1 should have been finding a backup plan "if" the Martinez experiment went to sheeet again. He should have been scouring the JC's for a competent QB. The defense stinks, no doubt. And no QB would have won us this game. And Bo wants to spend time talking about how bad his defense is, because that's what he feels most responsible for as it's what got him this job. But, I hope he realizes the much bigger picture here. His defense has been great the last couple years. Top of the food chain caliber. They were due for a down year eventually. But the real problem is he's now about to spend his 3rd straight season as a head coach of a team with an offense not capable of playing quality football. If he doesn't realize that, he's doomed.
  9. I've heard this argument before. It's a little out there, on the edge, but I say go with it. Some might laugh at you for stating such an absurd observation like, T-tragic isn't truly a qb. But stand strong!
  10. Bshirt, still suckling at the teet of Taylor. Never fails. NEBRASKANHEAT, still the internet punk. Never fails. Wait, you go all around calling everyone ignorant, blind, etc etc. Then start throwing more names around when you get a little ribbing for being so, so,so, so very wrong? Lighten up francis.
  11. Bshirt, still suckling at the teet of Taylor. Never fails.
  12. Carr,Price,Smith,Wilson > Martinez But. But. But. Yeah, whatever.
  13. Mizzou in the SEC would be hilarious. I actually hope they make that move. With A&M moving to the SEC, Texas recruits who want to play in the SEC will have a local option to choose from. And not many southern recruits from SEC country will pass on all the "local" teams to go up to mizzou, just to play against SEC teams. And they don't have the local recruiting base (like A&M) to recruit the type of players they would need to play in the SEC. In other words, we're looking at Vanderbilt version 2.0... Go for it Mizzou, I'll never have to hear about your relevance again! P.S. Their local paper did a poll of all local sports media people in the columbia and KC area asking which conference would be best for them. Most all said the big ten, a few said staying in the Big 12, no one said the SEC. Yet the fans all want the SEC. I think the fans (as usual with them) once again think their program is something no one outside of their fan base thinks it is.
