    A Chicago teen had been repeatedly warned about sneaking onto the basketball court at a suburan fitness facility, but one police officer came up with an alternative to arresting him for criminal trespassing.

      Here's your feel-good story of the day. It'll be interesting to see if this kid's identity comes out in 10 years if/when he makes it to the NBA.  I know we see all the headlines about the things cops do wrong, but these are the kinds of stories we need to see, too. My mom worked for two PDs in her life and I got to know several officers pretty well. These stories happen way oftener than you think.
