  1. The WTH was I thinking chronicles

That's beer for company, then! (I used to have a stash for company)
  2. The WTH was I thinking chronicles

Poor unruly animals. I hope they found better situations.
  3. If you could go back in time and reverse one decision you've made, what would it be? The main one for me is that i would never have given my mother in-law a computer and set her up with internet access.
  4. I wish to bestow many more +1's upon you, but alas, i am only allowed one.
  5. Would like to see ratings based on the average player rating increase/decrease. Rankings don't mean much when comparing classes because they aren't apples to apples. Some teams are higher ranked because of a larger class, etc. Quality vs quantity would be a better metric, IMHO.
  6. My Title IV idea to balance out M/W for FB:  Start a women's hockey team at NU.  Why not?

      Comfortably Numb

I like it but then we would want to add men's hockey so would still need to balance the numbers. Really would like to see UNL add some hockey. Its my favorite sport to watch besides Husker football.

    2. C N Red

      C N Red

Are you kidding me? Another Title to make things legal? Little overkill isnt it. ;)

what about a roller derby team?

  7. QB Position Switches

Count me as one who thinks Gebbia starts. He's just mobile enough, seems fairly accurate, but the biggest part is that he's a film junkie. That, to me, is going to be the thing that edges him out over others. The QB is going to have to think fast. So, i think with the time he allegedly puts in with watching film, he'll be able to have a better feel for a game. I'm also thinking that Crouch wasn't really the best at QB. The Heisman race that year was really pretty damned weak, and the only reason they gave it to EC was because he caught a pass. I wont argue that he was damned good, but it will also leave a sour taste in my mouth about how it seems like he pouted his way back into the position.
  8. QB Position Switches

Why not shoot for Center? He IS a film junkie and should know all the calls to make.
  9. Blackshirts: More than a Slogan

Yes, to the point of Gerry effn Dinardo (essentially) saying that we shouldn't use the term any more.
  10. Ryan Held Makes Rivals' Top 25 Recruiters

The man is a freaking perpetual motion machine!!
  11. LB Caleb Tannor [Nebraska - Signed LOI]

So, i did something for the first time (and probably last time as well)... went to an Iowa forum. Someone posted this hat ceremony and they were calling him an attention whore and douchebag and hoped he got hurt and predicted he was going to get into trouble. Good lord.
  12. QB Position Switches

That's pretty much my take, too, but i would really hate to lose any of them to transfer, especially if they can help the team at another position.
  13. QB Position Switches

3 scholarship QB's, several walkon's (but one is Vedral, presumably on scholarship next year). Wondering if any would become a Newcombe or Darlington, rather than transfer. Can't all be the starter and backup #1. Someone's not going to see the field.
  14. QB Position Switches

We're going to have a lot of talent, but not a lot of experience. Could get pretty crowded right off the bat. Do any of the QB's have what it takes, in terms of mentality/physicality to become a receiver, or even switch to another position? Or are they all purely QB's? Thoughts?
  15. Which can be seen in his signing day press conference. The kids they're going to get are the kids who don't need that kind of attention. And they aren't going to be used car salesmen.
