    I wonder if they just had no motivation to play this particular team, thinking they could just show up and get the W - I thought that was in the past, but now, thinking it isn’t. I can recall that even in a loss, the CU game last year was at least fun to watch the offense work. This was about like paint drying.

    Exactly. Everyone likes to overreact, good or bad. They found a way to win, or at least they found a way to capitalize on the other team making a few more mistakes than they did and got the W. 1-0 is always good.

    I know nothing of Wannstedt’s or Leiman’s prognostication skills, but Forde is a confirmed Husker hater, so I can’t take anything he says seriously.
