  1. 09/02/11 vs. Youngstown State East Lansing, Mich. W, 28-6 09/10/11 vs. Florida Atlantic East Lansing, Mich. W, 44-0 09/17/11 at Notre Dame Notre Dame, Ind. L, 31-13 09/24/11 vs. Central Michigan East Lansing, Mich. W, 45-7 10/01/11 at Ohio State * Columbus, Ohio W, 10-7 not saying our schedule is much more difficult, but......other than kinda notre dame and a big 10 offense that sucks....they haven't played much. i will say that their d-line is very good. also...maybe you didn't notice but the post was about ohio state.
  2. i didn't claim "in-depth analysis", dipsh*t. i watch most of osu's games. braxton miller didn't throw much because he's not a great passer yet. also, when he did drop back, he had about 1.3 seconds to get a pass off before getting hit by the entire msu d-line. osu's (normally) vaunted o-line SUCKS this year. miller was constantly scrambling to avoid a sack. and our defense is as good as msu's, even last night's defense. so, go back to whining and crying and bitching and moaning. and bauserman (correct spelling due to my in-depth analysis) was throwing in a last ditch effort to score. if you watched the game, he underthrew two different receivers on the final drive by 10 yards. t-mart is a better passer than bauserman. the touchdown was a last second piece of luck for osu. and bauserman didn't just come in during the 4th. he also started the game and played over half of it. osu's offense sucks. even with herron and posey back next week, they will still suck.
  3. i watched the osu/michigan state game and can honestly say that even if our defense plays like they did at wisconsin, we will still beat either team by 21. when msu was going to try a field goal in the 3rd quarter to go up 10-0, the announcers said that would be an insurmountable lead for osu to come back from. michigan state looked terrible on offense and defense and osu didn't pass 120 yards of offense until the final drive.
  4. one of the few other places that i get my husker "fix" is on the huskers illustrated podcast. garth glissman hasn't been on the radio show the past several weeks. did he quit? get fired? or will he be back? thanks in advance.
  5. i pretty much agree with everything that HANC said. husker_x - my only conclusion is that dillard is probably still close to some/a lot of players on the team. also, i can see bo not getting rid of taylor for two reasons. one, we only have 1 1/2 qb's on the roster right now that can actually get us through a game. if cody goes down and lee can't play (i know he played on senior day) then i don't want to burn a redshirt or have kellogg take the helm. also, if a player is going to transfer, there are very few coaches that will go out of their way to screw a player, even if they hate him. there is no reason to burn bridges/look like an a-hole.
  6. thanks, cheshire. i've heard about those message board lists. now, i think i'm going to go click on the "disgusted" thread. i don't know what the poster would be disgusted about since it's not in the thread title, but i'm feeling a little crazy tonight and will take the risk. even though it is a little "annoying".
  7. Nope - but you've got a lot to learn around here buddy. like what?
  8. "actually, mods, please put all of those statements in my thread title so that gmoose fully understands what my thoughts are so that he knows what he is clicking on." that is a personal attack?
  9. so, so, sorry. mods, please edit my post title to "i hope alex henery kicks a 60 yard field goal to win the game against the sooners on saturday because there are a bunch of dumb sh#ts that don't understand that he is by far one of the most reliable and accurate field goal kickers that i have ever seen". thank you. honestly, i am a homer but i can only think of a couple of other kickers that were as money as alex. mike nugent was a badass at theOSU and marteeeeeen was great at kstate. ucla has had a couple but look at alex's season/career stats. almost all of the very few kicks that he has missed were over 50 yards. and he has a very high percentage of 50+ yard kicks. so, he is money at extra points, short kicks, long kicks, meaningless kicks, meaningful kicks and every other kind of kick. he doesn't kick off? so what? he doesn't kick off because we have some kind of prodigy kick-off kicker that puts every kick-off out of the back of the end zone unless there is a 40mph wind in his face. wtf do they want? actually, mods, please put all of those statements in my thread title so that gmoose fully understands what my thoughts are so that he knows what he is clicking on. end of rant.
  10. i hope that henery kicks a 60 yard field goal to beat the sooners on saturday. how the f--- can he be second team? i've heard two different national announcers this season refer to him as one of the best placekickers in college football history. i know this was talked about on another thread. i also don't post much. but that is fricking ludicrous. MOD EDIT - Please use more descriptive thread titles.
  11. why isn't anyone bashing the writer. he is a douchebag. "I don't want to overstate Justin Rogers' potential, but to pluck a prospect out of Birmingham like Rogers from right under the noses of Alabama and Auburn is damn impressive - no matter who you are talking about. Unless, of course, there were other factors involved in the recruitment of Rogers." that is a douchebag inference.
  12. ...ed cunningham and (i'm assuming) his geriatric buddy are announcing the missouri game on saturday.
  13. gomes is a badass. probably prince second. the others are pretty dang close to elite also. man, our secondary is good.
