  1. With all the uncertainty and chaos surrounding Husker Nation I give you: (I hope I posted this right) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51zJHtjIRzM&feature=youtu.be Think back to what it means to all the first timers, and remember your own first time at Memorial Stadium. I was 7. My dad and I were in the 93rd row of south stadium (counted the steps). Don't know who we played that day or if we won, but it didn't matter. I ate a runza and cheered as loud as I could and will never turn away. Go Big Red 4 Life!
  2. btw facts http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=209668687&SPID=22&SPSID=1
  3. I side with stride over stripes, but not a big deal. However, my biggest gripe is towards the end. It is Until or "'til we cant be beat". That's the whole point behind the "day by day we get better and better" not "the team that cant be beat". Yes, it is more dominate saying the team can't be beat, but the whole point in this prayer and others is acknowledging faults and short comings and asking for strength to overcome.
  4. This NEEDS to happen! and it will "organically" happen. I will be telling everyone I know to chant with the team and tell them to tell others and you all should too. I love seeing the thread here every Saturday. It's become one of my traditions/superstitions to make sure it is completed before kick off. I first heard it in the 90's and memorized it as quick as I could. I used it in midget football, high school football, intramurals in college, and taught it to the kids I coached in baseball and football. Hell, i still recite it at home and work. I know I'm not the only one. It is still used by youth sports all across this state and there are thousands who group up with it like me. Will there be backlash from the vocal minority? of course. but we just ask for a chance that's fair
  5. Just saw it on YouTube and came over to post the link, thank you! I love the live prayer! If they keep doing it, the crowd will catch on and it will be insane as 90,000 fans chant along.
  6. can't wait til someone gets it uploaded for the masses, I've heard from multiple people it was amazing
  7. Am I seeing things? or does the background say "GO BIG RE"?
  8. Im on my way back to omaha from the game. I had nothing but a great experience. Before the game we walked around campus and got a lot of good lucks and welcomes. Good conversations with several knowledgeable fans before during and after the game. We were sitting behind the PSU bench about 30 rows up. Only part i didn't like was the constant roaring sound effect over the pa. Way worse then ksu.
  9. I'm a blue collar guy who doesn't make a lot, but I'd bid half my salary on it. That being said, I'd come up way short. 50,000+
  10. Here are some shots I took today of the devaney center renovations. First 3 are on the south side. Last one is on the west side.
  11. Landscape prep work for the arena will begin Wednesday. My friend and coworker will be the foreman on site. (Despite my best efforts to get the job) He's promised progress pics once they get going, but major landscaping wont start until May.
  12. Not a great pic, but this was taken at 19th and Vine a couple days ago
