The walk on program will never be as strong as it was. These kids don't know the Nebraska football that we do. Why walk on at NU when North Dakota State, South Dakota State, Northwest Missouri State, Wyoming and every other local college is recruiting them. Kids just want to play, have school paid for, wear flashy gear and have a chance to play for championships (NDSU). With the scholarship limits and an even playing field, its just not the same. BO really damaged our walk on program/ in state recruiting and it drives me crazy seeing these kids play for other schools (iowa).

I think this was a very smart hire. Wanting to implement the new defensive scheme, they need experts. Diaco helping Bray and Elliott helping Williams is great. Bray and Williams bring the youth, fire, and technique while Diaco and Elliott bring the "smarts" and understanding!! Love it

Will there ever be a time when this "well he was a 9 win coach" ever go away. 9 wins does not make you a great coach! Like i said when I started this, I liked Bo and I drank the Kool-Aid like it was going out of style. But drop the 9 wins and then grade Bo and his staff. Yes he gave us 9 wins and terrible press, and terrible fan appreciation, and poor recruiting, and poor player development, and blowout losses, and terrible non-conference games, and no conference championships,ect. I will save you time over your lunch hour. BUT 9 WINS! Let it go people.

I have been trying to figure out what I think about this years team/coaches and I cant help but wonder if Bo and his staff just got lucky last year and this "fallout" was already in place. First of all we are no better than 7-6 last year without Ameer. He saved our ass in the McNeese State game and the overtime win against Iowa. Ameer's pure heart won those games. Not our sh**ty defense, and it for sure wasn't the play calling!! Ameer alone made last years team. Secondly, Bo's recruiting was sub-par, we lacked staff with great resumes, and in my opinion our strength and conditioning was terrible. We returned 15 of those starters this year! They just didnt forget how to play football in 1 offseason! The writing was on the wall. This new staff is doing all they can to save a ship that Bo had already blown too many holes into and was about to sink. Yes, they have had some growing pains with playing calling and some clock management, but for Christ sake maybe the cupboard is just a little too bare. I have faith in this staff and I hope everyone gives them a chance is all. And for the record, I liked Bo...

if you want to show your frustration find some other means. Try to email the AD... If you can find him! Or show frustration by not going to the game then. Booing just makes you look like and idoit.

If people are going to boo at the game I really hope they just don't go. They are kids playing a game they love and want to excel at and deserve better than having a grown adult boo him. Boo a professional team, not a group of kids!!

Okay here's the common theme between all of these songs, and also 'Let Me Clear My Throat' which we used in the past: You can jump to them. Every song suggested henceforth besides Turn Down For What (I guess you could argue for 'For Whom the Bell Tolls') isn't a song that the student section can go bananas jumping around too. That's why they wouldn't work. That's why a lot of people are tired of Sirius. If you want to get a crowd pumped up, give them music to jump to rather than clap to every single time. Why do you think the basketball students lose their minds to DMX? That's also why the King of House song has found a home before kickoffs. There are other situations during a football game where AC/DC or The XX Intro song or whatever would work well, but not for a 4th quarter pump up. That song needs to be a party, not a death threat. AGREED...... These songs listed would work great for a 4th down or a key moment during the game. But Im thinking an actual song that makes everyone come to life and jump and yell and pretty much party for 3-5 min. Make it fun and exciting! People always talk about the SELLOUT STREAK coming to an end, or how nobody wants to see an FAU of McNeese State play because its boring.. Well it wouldnt be so boring if they could figure something out to keep the crowd into the game. Something better than "stand up and shout" .............

Yeah I think we still do, I didn't make it to the FAU game so I'm not sure if we used it again this year or not.

I was reading about the Michigan vs Norte dame rivalry coming to an end today, which led to YouTube videos between these two teams. Watching these games made me realize how jealous I am of other teams 4 th qtr. celebrations. The seven nation army, jump around, enter sandman, ect. Sound and look awesome. I really wish we could come up with something like this. I know this topic seems to come up a lot,but I just have a crazy feeling about some of our home games this year, and feel something like this could be awesome! Just curious if anybody has any ideas.

Has anyone heard about the status of this update? We are going to the spring game and I was wondering if it had been completed yet. Would love to hear it!!!
