  1. And that is 5 straight weeks with a new entry. Good job blackshirts.
  2. Positive is that now Stanford controls their own destiny. If they win against UCLA next week, they go to the Pac 12 championship and if we win the B1G we don't have to worry about Oregon. I definitely like our chances against Stanford or UCLA over Oregon. Still don't think there was enough evidence on the 2nd Stanford TD to overturn the decision on the field.
  3. Don't think on the reviewed play there was enough evidence that he had control of the ball before he was out of bounds. Think it was bad call by the replay official.
  4. Good write up Knapp, except it was Courtney Osborne who caused the non fumble against Missouri. 2010 was a good year for him, unfortunately it seems like he hasn't been able to keep healthy since then.
  5. Bell was dismissed for something entirely different than the sideline altercation during the NW game.
  6. Of course he does. Pretty much every position coach outside of WR, RB, and TE, still has something to prove. I think a general concession is that Els might have too much on his plate and we need someone to work either exclusively or give it to an assistant who doesn't have as much on his plate (Garrison was a name thrown out).
  7. We should give someone else st, but part of the reason we dont have a lot of commits right now is the staff does not pressure kids into committing. They want kids who are 100% on board with the program. But we've had some good classes the last couple years and we still have some pieces that can fall into place with this class that can make it great. We need another look at our punt return team, try something different. Shatel and I think mckeown both mentioned having 2 returnmen. I think that would be a good solution as the return man who catches the ball won't have as far to run.
  8. The story was on The Journey episode that profiled him. Absolutely love that Bell is on this team. Looked real special from his high school tape as an athlete, and he just keeps improving.
  9. Clapping keeps the Center looking forward at the defense instead of having to look between his legs. It also seems that since we've gone to clapping, the amount of bad snaps by Jackson has decreased.
  10. Seisay rolled his ankle a couple times during fall camp that put him behind. Also Rose played and I think started as a Freshman at Auburn.
  11. Evans is a Junior, never redshirted. We also have Jonathon Rose that will probably play anywhere in the defensive backfield.
  12. While I want to win out, it would be nice to have some room to breath.
  13. Northwester just marched down the field on Michigan easily. Now I don't want to back into the B1G championship game, but I would like the breathing room.
  14. Turner will take one to the house, either a Kick or a Punt.
  15. The whole team, this is the game where everything comes together and we have a dominant performance.
  16. I'm going with it's 20-20 at the start of the 4th Quarter, the Nebraska offense takes over the game and scores 2 tds and wins 34-20. The game will never feel that it's out of our control.
  17. He was impressed by the pull ability of our O-Line, but didn't like the fact that we're not consistent. Also wasn't very high on our defense. He did have some in depth thoughts on our offense and how some things are similar to what they do at Oregon.
  18. Do you really believe this? He rolls once he get's going, but his first three steps are ChoiLike. Probably should qualify it as one of the fastest first 3 steps, Thomas up at Oregon is pretty damn fast. He gets up to his top speed really fast, but seems like he slows a little after 40 yards or so. It's when he's picking his way threw traffic that he's not as fast, but when he finds the hole, he's through as fast as anyone.
  19. Martinez probably has the fastest first 3 steps in all of College football. Also when he sees a hole he's one of the fastest through it. Now if he could get over the ankle injury and be 100%, we'll be set for the rest of the year and beyond.
  20. Think MSU fans should stop bringing up the Johnny Adams PF on the INT return. It's clear from that video above that Bell wasn't really running that hard to get back in the play and got ear holed for it seems no reason outside that he's our leading WR or he was facing Adams all game. It was targeting and they should ask why Adams was even making that sort of play in the first place. But nope, let's just blame it on the refs.
  21. I think on the 2nd Martinez TD run it was supposed to be a pass. At least that's what it looked like after he got done with the PA he saw a lane and hit it. Overall a beautiful play.
  22. It was a bend but not break day. They bent through 3 quarters, but in the fourth quarter MSU ran 11 plays for 30 yards. That's how you win football games.
