A victory this Saturday will make NU eligible for it's 50th bowl. Making it just the 3rd program in the nation to reach 50. Following Alabama and Texas

Big what if? What if the 49ers trade Montana for Elway?

1 point Mavric 0 points Husker07. ELWAY WAS THE WHOLE TEAM! I could name you all the WR's Elway played with, and all the RB's that played beside him but that's because I've been a Broncos fan for 27 years. But ask the average fan to name 2 of John Elway's receivers in the 80's or 2 of his RB's in the 80's. Most people don't f'ing' know ONE! Yet everybody can name off the hall of fame roster San Francisco had. Geez people gimme a break...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Bo call the Pass Interference Chicken S#!^ and not the personal foul that was called after he whipped his hat? It's been bugging me since I remember it one way when all the news outlets are reporting it the other way.

No, as per the presser transcript... "[The ref] said I got too close to him. I thought that was a chicken sh#t call. Excuse my language on that, but I had never seen anything like that before. I’ve done a lot worse than that. I saw [iowa head coach] Kirk Ferentz on the other side acting a lot worse than I act."
-
To continue... "I didn’t see a flag come out on him. The bottom line is they knew they blew the call. They blew it. They blew that call over there on that third down. Everybody in the stadium knew it. They just didn’t man up enough to pick that flag up."
THIS is where he begins to speak about them blowing the PI call. However, this is not what the chickensh#t bit is referring to.

Seattle traded away its stars and drafted a youth movement which is what we've been seeing since their trip to the finals. The last two years of Seattle was a bad product and Bennett continued to increase pricing for average joe seats and drove away fan interest to levy more reason to exit Seattle. Seattle renovated Key Arena 10 years prior to Bennett's ownership with 90mil tax payers dollars. They also built safeco field and century link 8 years prior to Bennett AND he demanded the n...

If the force is for everyone, why can only white humans use it?

So does MSU jump to #2, or does Auburn not drop at all?

ESPN bloggers have us projected as facing Missouri in the Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl

I'm firmly behind Bo, but I find this funny. What's the difference between Bo and Tim? Tim can hold Wisconsin below 70 points.

McShay is liking Jimmy Smith as the #2 CB over Prince, can anyone explain why?

Am I the only one here who would've liked to witness history? How many chances are we going to get for an undefeated team in any sport?

This BYU/Boise State game is crazy. Blocked field goal by Boise with 15 seonds left, but it doesn't cross the LOS so BYU gets the ball back. Hail Mary attempt incoming

Crazy stat by people smarter than me. Nebraska Special Teams are 13th in the nation overall. Punt team is atrocious, but the other three parts are decent to pretty good.

Sneaky good play from the bowl game was Cooper's tackle of Gurley on 3rd down. He doesn't make that and Gurley walks into the end zone. How many times in the past 2 years have our Safeties been in that position and whiffed? Looking forward to what Cooper does next year.

We're at 2 references to the fact that NU didn't want Burrow. (I'm 100% hindsight is 20/20 and it was only a mistake with his initial recruitment, not in 2018)

@NUance, OSU fans not beating ourselves up and I think everyone is happy for him. It seems as if there are no hard feelings between Burrow and OSU.
-
@The Dude, I don't know...We don't hear how Michigan basically wasted the time they had with Tom Brady. Also, it won't matter if Burrow doesn't develop into a top tier QB for my Bengals. I wanted him in the draft, but I can't put too much faith into that franchise.

Probably in the minority, but of the two B1G teams playing today, I dislike the other NU more. I don't have the words to describe it, but its the feeling that the other NU can do no wrong and that since their so well coached they get no penalties called against them.

I certainly respect OSU but do hate the BIG homerism towards them. We saw same with Texas in the Big 12. The worst is the NBA...it has been going on a long time there based on who the league wants to be fashionable. Get rid of it across all sports. You think the BIG treats Nebraska and OSU the same? Just get rid of it. But that's tough to do when the BIG wants to see their team in playoff, etc.
-
I agree @chamrocck, my questioning was about the OP's dislike for the other NU.
I guess I don't dislike either team. I can only respect each of them. NW plays disciplined and does more with less. tOSU may get favoritism from the B1G but I can only hold that against the conference. The Buckeyes do pretty well earning their own way. People hated Nebraska for years because we were so good. I won't hate them for that reason. I actually felt some kinship from them this year but I still wanted them to lose today to spite the conference. So I'm petty....

So the USMNT is playing in a snow storm tonight on ESPN2. Just thought you should all know.

Watching the Defiant Ones on HBO. Man a lot of tragedy could have been avoided by people being smarter and not stirring s*** up.

FYI UCF is playing on ESPN 2 right now. Watched a couple of their games this year and it seems like they run plays that people get mad at Riley for doing, but hey double standards. This does not mean I don't want Frost as coach next year, just that they do a lot of throws on 3rd and short which is something Riley and Langsdorf gets roasted for.
