  1. Sorry guys, been awhile. Running backs. Didn't Deandre Jackson play defense. Linebacker and Running back. So he comes here knowing he will play RB or DB leaving Coach Applewhite to bring one more RB in?
  2. He looks good. The only problem I see is he would draw more laundry than Wash World on a Friday night in the Big unless we are winning.
  3. Sorry if this was discussed already but, what about Urban's wife Shelley? A nurse and on staff at OSU, doesn't that make her a Mandatory reporter? Shouldn't she be questioned on why she never reported any incidents. After all, Urban said he and his wife never discussed it.
  4. Still there. I believe its the last true Husker store in town.
  5. Huskerhounds on 84th just south of Center and north of Interstate 80 for your Husker gear. And we would like to invite you to the Blackstone area for good bars good food and good fun, up Farnam to 40th
  6. This conversation is total hearsay. Tyson has a great future with his speed under this new system. The only thing that would hurt him is the small window of time. Not because he is leaving, but because it will take 5 years to get this rock rolling.
  7. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he sit his entire senior year do to an injury and you guys think he can start next year if he chooses NU?

  9. If I'm not mistake, didn't he tweet out to KJJ or Tyjon when the got their offers from NU..."how do I get one"
  10. Yup, seen better stuff in the Look A Like threads
  11. I was at breakfast today with my mom and her husband, and they were talking about Bill O'Reilly being "targeted" by "liberal" groups. I rolled my eyes. 1. I quickly pointed out that Fox News had paid out nearly 15 million to multiple women to settle harassment claims. 2. Fox News wouldn't have paid out the money if there wasn't any truth to the accusations. 3. Bill O'Reilly should have just hired hookers. That pretty much shut the entire "Bill O'Reilly is a victim of liberal activists" conversation down. LOL. Usually don't get involved in political conversations but these thoughts need addressing. First, don't care about Bill O'really, O'Reilly. Now about the $15 million paid out to several women.Companies pay this out to make it go away true or not. They don't want the hassle. Now I will give you a personal experience. I had an employee tell me she was going on vacation, I casually asked where and if she was going with someone, she has grandkids. This woman flipped out, wrote a letter to my boss stating I wanted to sleep with her and I had harassed her. I was called in to explain myself and had it not been for the fact that this conversion took place with her sister present, my company would have been sued. I would have lost my job, put in a position to explain to my wife and family why I got fired and prospective employers. Was not fun. I realize not all claims are like this but it happens far too often. Duke La Cross ring any bells? The news is full of false harassment claims. And it snowballs. Once someone finds out that a company "just paid them to go away" suddenly there's a line. Not trying to be cynical, just wanted to vent. Oh and, I never watched the Factor.
  12. You put your hand on your heart for the Pledge of Allegiance, not the National Anthem. However, you do remove your hat
  13. The average attendance is around 6000+ And if you want a real thrill, come to town when the Fighting Souix visit. They travel like husker fans 17,000 packed fans at the Link. Doesn't get any better than that. Great fans, hockey fans, if you know what I mean, but win or lose they love to party. I just hope they move those games back to the Link. You all must come up and see. I don't agree with the fighting for donor dollars either. UNO won't lose any.
  14. Wow. I hope when you are 64 your kids have paid up the nursing home bill. I like how you pick and choose your "debate". Correct me if I am wrong, but you seem to be basing your opinion on the fact that Riley is too old to make a comeback or take a run at championship year solely based on his age AND he came from a mediocre school. Your list of Tier One coaches must be finite. I did not read all the thread, I have been in a self imposed retirement due to the Pelini crap, but this, this is crap.
  15. Had to come out of retirement for this one. WOW! CU...Stanford...everyone else...Colorado. WTF. I can see it now, "and the Hiesmen goes to..anybody other than the kid from Colorado". What is going through your head other than, "Maybe I'm not that good". Sorry, lost for thoughts on this one.
  16. If there's a point to this post, I sure can't find it. Could you collect your thoughts and try this again? upon reflection and a sober morning...you are correct
  17. What??? Really.. fire a first year coach at your university and bring in a first year offensive coordinator, who had a so so year at another university and totally mess with his recruits. Solid choice.
  18. Well, I waited all year. This thread and MANY have gone way off track. Even as I post I can't believe there are 2 pages of Tommy Armstrong's Instagram of "us against the world". and the insane responses from the few. Let's review, those who think Tommy played the games for Bo, ie: Us against the fans, or those who think you all are idiots. Just stop. Social media has driven the syci of our young for the past few years and will only get worse. Oh and Husker67, change your avatar....Beck, really?!

  20. Nothing really new. Confirmed he is going to Oregon this weekend and said he talks to Scott Frost every week. When asked when he was visiting here he said he still has to work that out with his mom. To me it sounded like Oregon is the clear leader but he said as of right now nothing has changed and he is still committed to Nebraska. Have too agree. It was like he had Willy Wanka's golden ticket in his pocket and was making a decision on visiting the Kit Kat factory. The left one.
