Sounds like old school Nebraska football to me, skersfan! I think they're getting there

1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? 44 years 2) What/who led you to The Nation? My dad, grandpa, and the old Motorola radio out in the garage 3) Where are you from originally? Pierce, Nebraska 4) Where do you live now? Palmdale, CA 5) Favorite Husker memory? 1995 Fiesta Bowl. Took so much flak before that game from my squadron commander (Florida grad) that I actually bet him a case of Moosehead. Best beer I ever had! Also got to meet Danny Wuerffel about a week after that game at a prayer breakfast on Edwards AFB. His dad was one of the chaplains on base, Danny was invited to speak. Walked through the reception line with my Husker hat on. The look on his face was priceless! Real nice guy though, so I didn't rub it in too much! 6) Worst Husker memory? '04 TT loss. First time I ever decided that yardwork and going to the store was more important than Husker football 7) Number of home games attended? 8, spread through the '60's, '70's, and '80's. 8) Number of away games attended? 1 9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? All of my media guides, and every birthday hat and shirt my Dad still sends me! 10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? On my bigscreen, or listening on laptop out in my garage 11) Favorite all time player? (Meaning one???) Glover, Jet, Rimington, TF, Frost, Ahmann...come on guys, you can't pick just one. Just grab an old roster! 12) WCO or Option? Both. Anything that moves the ball down the damn field 13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? Steve Pederson 14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? Antelope Valley. Moved out to Edwards AFB in '84 and just haven't been able to get back to the promised land! Family still lives in Pierce, brothers in Norfolk and Lincoln. Maybe in a couple of years when I retire..... Thanks for the welcome guys, hope to be able to contribute

Thanks for that post, skersfan. Literally forced me to register so I could agree! I call my dad in Pierce quite often and we have expressed some of the same sentiments as you. Nice post!
