Eric the Red
Stockpiling visits Nebraska still has yet to use more than half of its NCAA-allotted 56 official visits through six home games. The Nov. 24 Colorado game will serve as a big recruiting period, as will weekends in December and January. The setup this year goes against the strategy in coach Bill Callahan's first two years at NU, when the Huskers brought as many visitors as possible to see the game-day setting. Two straight 11 a.m. kickoffs at home have hurt Nebraska's ability to load up on visitors - that and the NCAA's two-year-old rule that prohibits schools from using private planes to transport potential recruits. Among the visitors on tap to watch the Huskers' regular-season finale against CU: Chris Perry, a 320-pound defensive tackle from Keller, Texas. Perry committed to Miami (Fla.) in June. He plans to visit Oklahoma this weekend to watch the Sooners face Texas Tech. -Omaha World Herald Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Crushing the Bluffs and Space Commander Hawkins into dust would be a nice way to close out the regular season and impress the recruits. Quote Link to comment
