After 4 years I guess i'll introduce myself

1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? Life I guess, but got much more involved around 2007 and on.

2) What/who led you to The Nation? My Grandpa and my Uncle

3) Where are you from originally? Geneva, NE

4) Where do you live now? Geneva, NE

5) Favorite Husker memory? Being in attendance during Jack Hoffman TD

6) Worst Husker memory? That Bowl loss to UW was pretty hard to stomach, as were many things about 2010.

7) Number of home games attended? At least 15 I think

8) Number of away games attended? None yet, been trying to make it to a NW game

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? Simple T-Shirt or my red cowboy hat

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) In a section at Memorial where there aren't 3 extra people who are in the wrong spot

11) Favorite all time player? Suh or Burkhead. Suh was unstoppable, Rex embodied what being a Husker means

12) Spread Offense or Pro Style? Either or, as long as it succeeds

13) Big Ten or Big XII? B1G, XII is dying

14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? Herbie

15) Favorite Husker play? The Hail Westerkamp play was one I won't soon forget.

2) What/who led you to The Nation? Being born here helped, family always big husker fans, although my dad and his dad are big Michigan fans.

 

3) Where are you from originally? Seward, NE

 

4) Where do you live now? Lincoln, NE

 

5) Favorite Husker memory? I was at the Hail Westerkamp, in the corner he caught it. Awesome

 

6) Worst Husker memory? I was also at the game vs Iowa State, where we had 7 or 8 turnovers and lost 9-7... I remember that Niles Paul fumble so vividly, that team was such a good team and we blew it lol.

 

7) Number of home games attended? Too many

 

8) Number of away games attended? Michigan with my dad, Northwestern, and hopefully Wisconsin next year!

 

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? I have a signed Fraizer photo of his run vs Florida that I got as a kid

 

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) I’m a North endzone guy

15) Favorite Husker play? even though the game sucked the Taylor Martinez 76  yard TD run vs Wisconsin in the B1G Championship was one of the greatest plays I have seen.

Left: me. Right: I met Chicago guy .... identical beards, nose shapes and exactly the same age (63) !!!!!  Plus, both baldies.  The exceptions: me, overweight ..... 6 foot tall, 220 pounds.  Chicago guy, underweight ..... about 5'10", 150 wet (skinny)

 

Grandsons.  My daughter (mother twins) is a big NU fan - see previous post.  Already practice "cross the arms" .  She and my grandsons lives in Broken Arrow (Tulsa suburb)
