Huskers.com will be your exclusive source for live audio and video feeds of the press conference, the first opportunity Coach Callahan will have to discuss the 2007 signing class. Nebraska football coach Bill Callahan will hold a news conference to announce Nebraska’s 2007 signing class at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Huskers class of 2007 is ranked ninth nationally by Rivals.com. The group is headed up by Omaha North High School wide receiver and Parade All-American Niles Paul. Florida ranks first, followed by Tennessee and Texas. The Huskers currently have 29 known commitments. Husker fans hoping to get a firsthand look at the 2007 Nebraska recruiting class can attend the Touchdown Club Lincoln Recruiting Banquet on Feb. 8. The entire Husker coaching staff will be on hand to discuss the newest Huskers and show highlight films of each of the recruits. The Lincoln recruiting dinner will be held at the Cornhusker Hotel, with a social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Cost for the banquet is $55 per person or a table of eight for $440.
