Hoosker
How do you feel about the gorrilaz as a whole Hoosker? Edit: I meant to put Gorillaz album lol obviously Gorillas as a whole is great. I've been enjoying it quite a bit since it came out. I think it's pretty eclectic, even by Gorillaz standards. I think it's hard to match Demon Days or the debut album, but I'd put it right up there with Plastic Beach. I like it more than The Fall, that's for sure. Quote Link to comment

My son thinks it's the second coming but I feel it's affected. I was horribly disappointed. My opinion falls somewhere in the middle. I was a little disappointed as well just because I thought it was inconsistent. Definitely some really good songs there(the ones you posted among them) but I also felt like there were just some botched points on the album. Misplaced features and the song Momentz in particular I was so frustrated with because I thought it could be a really good song if it wasn't for the terrible throbbing baseline. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I don't know you But I want you All the more for that Words fall through me And always fool me And I can't react And games that never amount To more than they're meant Will play themselves out Take this sinking boat and point it home We've still got time Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice You'll make it now Falling slowly, eyes that know me And I can't go back Moods that take me and erase me And I'm painted black You have suffered enough And warred with yourself It's time that you won Take this sinking boat and point it home We've still got time Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice You'll make it now Falling slowly sing your melody I'll sing along Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Got Dead & Co. at Wrigley in 2 weeks. I'm still not hot on John Mayer (I'm picky about who fills in for one of my all time guitar/musical hero's) but my friends have a pool and we'll also be celebrating one of our buddies birthdays. It will be a sun and beer soaked weekend. Happy summer everyone. I also just remembered I have tickets to see 311 on Sunday after 2 nights of Dead & Co debauchery. Oh boy. Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
If you like classic hip hop, check out The Unseen by Quasimoto (this song can be found on that record) Quote Link to comment

suh_fan93
I was lucky enough to see (and meet) these 3 lovely ladies twice in one weekend a few weekends ago. Their Beat Kitchen show was the most fun I've had at a show in a long long time and that's saying something. Quote Link to comment
