beamout2000
The latest All-Star game is this weekend from El Paso. It's called Texas vs. The Nation and Nebraska LB Steve Octavian is on the Nation team. Kickoff is Saturday at 3pm and it's televised on CSTV for those of you that have it, I don't unfortunately. Texas State punter Chris MacDonald is on the Texas team so hopefully Octo will have a good game and force Texas to punt a lot. Quote Link to comment
Always a husker
Ill make sure I watch. Sorry but how do you expect Texas to win? Or do you? Quote Link to comment
General Blackshirt
hmm, Texas Vs. The Nation. is it just me or does that fit right into a cocky stereotype I hold for Texans? Quote Link to comment
walksalone
hmm, Texas Vs. The Nation. is it just me or does that fit right into a cocky stereotype I hold for Texans? Just a wee bit... I hope they're not playing at the Alamo dome, could be bad for Texas.... Quote Link to comment
hskrpwr13
Hasnt FLa hosted games like these in the past? How many of these ridiculous games are needed? Are these for fun, or are they put on by the NFL to further analyze players? They just seem like over kill to me. Quote Link to comment
skersOVRsc
When I originally read the headline I thought this was about recruits out of Texas! Its hard to find a D1 team without at least 4 Texas kids on it. Quote Link to comment

But it's still pretty pompous ot have the TX vs the world launch Quote Link to comment
austintxhusker
Try coming down here and living with these people. The whole state is like that. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
This seems a little ridiculous! I don't see the point..... Quote Link to comment
papersun87
If they wanted it to be really hardcore, they'd do Montana vs. The Nation or something . . . Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I notice former Nebraska player Brock Pasteur is on the Texas team. He went to Stephen F Austin. roster Quote Link to comment
Spartness
Just a wee bit... I hope they're not playing at the Alamo dome, could be bad for Texas.... The last time I looked, Octavian isn't Mexican. Quote Link to comment
Houchsker12
I don't get this game. How do they determine the Texas roster, at first I figured it was either players from any Texas high school or someone who attend a Texas College. Then I saw Xavier Omon is on the Texas roster. Hmm... Quote Link to comment
