I think we hit a spending and acquiring apex in 2007 as a country/world. We are now paying for being spread so thin. The only good thing that this is going to do is thin out businesses that are poorly run and the strong ones will survive this turmoil and be even stronger. Link to comment

It makes since because the market is so global and continues more, with a bunch of international corporations that when one country goes down they all (most) go down with them Link to comment
