Ryne Reeves didn't make the Scout 150 cut.

Jamal Turner made the 150 cut though. He's ranked #103.

Aaron Green also made the cut and came in at #32.

Tyler Moore came in at #69.

As far as Scout position rankings go:

Tyler Moore came in at #10 at the OT position.

Ryne Reeves came in at #5 at the OG position.

Jamal Turner came in at #7 at the QB position.

Aaron Green came in at #8 at the RB position.

I have lost some respect for scout now. If there are 7 backs in the nation better than A. Green we dont need him. :)

Has there ever been a reason to have respect for Scout? None for me personally.

Scout it by far the worst of the recruiting analysis sites. Tyler Moore is a lock for a 5 star and the way it looks they have Aaron Green hovering at a high 4 star. I don't even visit their site anymore.
Reporter - "What do you think of all the rankings and analysis of recruits by the experts?"

Bo - "Who are these experts? I would love to sit down with them in a few years and we will see who is right about analyzing these kids."

Same here. I don't think I've been to Scout's site for over a year.

FWIW, Looks like Reeves is a 4 star, just outside of the 150. Scout # 100 - 200

It looks like the remaining 4 stars haven't been sorted, then he is going to wind up between 151-167. (There's 17 4 stars outside the 150.) That's not too bad. Hopefully, he keeps the 4th star and maybe even moves up some!!

Aaron won't be close to 5 stars when the rankings come out. Rivals listed him as 8th in Texas. Because his Jr season was plagued with injuries he went from being a top15 player to a player in the 50-80 range.

You're right, though I think he'll be a high 4-star.

They are saying there is a legit chance that there are 4-6 running backs will be ranked with 5 stars. Crowell, Brown, Green, Sims, B. Williams, and Bergeron all have a good chance.

I dont care what they say, Aaron Green is the best back in the nation.

He dropped in the Texas Top 100 because they know that it is very possible that he will never attend The University of Texas.

Would he be the best back in the country if we werent going for him, and have a pretty decent shot at him? I think he looks to be a great one, but lets let it all play out. Rankings jump tremondously in a years time.

Kinda makes ya wonder how hard we will recruit these guys in the quiet months ahead. I think we only stand a decent shot at getting these guys if we stick with them consistently throughout the year, unlike last year when we seemed not to recruit as hard till the very end. IMO that just won't cut it, especially considering who else is in the running for these guys.
please leave a message after the beap

I don't see us getting DaVaris Daniels. From what I've read, he's high on Ohio St. and Notre Dame at the moment. Also his HS teammate and fellow WR Evan Spencer (who also has a Nebraska offer) are talking about going to the same college together, so it'll likely be a package deal with them two.

I'm predicting that they'll end up at Notre Dame. Both have visited ND and said they loved it. Plus they'd fit well in a Brian Kelly pass-oriented offense.

How many kids have said I'm going where he's going and it never happens. You may be right on Da varis Daniels to ND but in one report he liked the huskers.

His dad played at Ohio State too didnt he? It will be tough for NU to get him out of Big 11/ND territory.

Yes, Spencer's dad played for OSU. Daniels dad is current DE Phillip Daniels from the Washington Redskins. DaVaris's childhood friend from Georgia (before he moved to Illinois) is currently a WR at Notre Dame, Tai-ler Jones. Tai-ler Jones's dad, Andre Jones is DaVaris's godfather.
