How on earth can ANYONE think this is a good idea??? I mean, if you are going to frivolously waste money, at least spend it in the UNited States!!! That purchase of that ice box in Alaska worked out alright, didn't it? There were quite a few people upset with Seward over that one if I remember correctly. Personally, this isn't worthy of outrage.
