You're getting Mike Shoff confused with Zach Sterup. Shoff is a wrestler. Sterup is a basketball player. But don't worry, Big Willie also confused these two as well. Quote Link to comment
Ohio Pete
After last night, I'm pretty sure he could help the basketball team too, even if that isn't one of his sports. Quote Link to comment
girlknowsfootball
I've said it before and i'll say it again.... BEAST. He will commit to NU at camp this summer. He'll end up being a medium ranked 4star. But has body, athleticism to develop into a 5star type player during college. Quote Link to comment
Spooky Tooth
Iowa has offered. At one level you almost want the kid to not commit early so he can accumulate a sick offer list and lots of stars, cuz you know if he signs N early he'll be a two-star. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Those measurables can't be accurate, can they? A 280 pound high school sophomore who runs a 12 second 100 yard dash and benches 365? That's unreal. Think his 100 is actually even faster than that, in the 11's. I bet we'll wrap him up this summer. Quote Link to comment
bbeerma2
How can his track times be inflated.... As for recruiting him, I think he's a better bet than some Nebraska products. Especially those with the surname Cotton Quote Link to comment
AndyDufresne
How can his track times be inflated.... As for recruiting him, I think he's a better bet than some Nebraska products. Especially those with the surname Cotton Schoff is probably the #1 player in the state for 2012 and very likely a 4-star. Of course he's a better prospect than Cotton. That doesn't mean that Cotton wasn't worth taking though. Have you watched his senior film? Most skeptics that have may not be totally on board, but come away saying "Better than I thought". Danny Bateman
According to the Camp Visitors thread in the regular recruiting forum, Shoff could not come to camp because he tore his ACL. Can anybody shed any light on the situation. This is a very unfortunate development, and I am curious as to how badly it will hamper Shoff in his high school and collegiate athletic endeavors. Danny Bateman
Bump. Rivals has a teaser about Mike that says a "minor" injury set him back and kept him from attending camp. That does not sound like how one would describe an ACL tear. Any info? Quote Link to comment

Apathy
He attended Nebraskas camp but did not participate because he bummed up his knee playing b-ball. Shoff will contact Cotton next week to see if Nebraska will offer but Shoff is almost certain that Nebraska will offer him. Once he gets the offer he'll commit on the SPOT....this kid will be Quote Link to comment
