If he wouldnt have voted for this bill that has everything in it that he promised the people of Nebraska he would never vote in favor of and stuck to his original promises the bill would have never even got to the House of Representatives. It would have been voted down in December. He not only pushed this stupid thing through, he flat out got nothing in return for his vote. He dug his own grave. Link to comment

That's one of the consequences that individuals endure for supporting and advocating a system that is flawed at its core. The root of the problem is not that an individual does what he deems is in his best interest or even that he has different opinions, preferences and values then others do, for such is natural in life, but rather the issue lies with the system in place that allows him to make subjective laws based on those opinions, values and preferences and then force other individuals, at the point of a gun nonetheless, to comply with and fund his wishes and demands, whether they agree or not. Instead of voting in another person, who may or may not have the same values, opinions and preferences as you, isn't a more logical solution to end the system and start living and making decisions for yourself? Your first major mistake was actually trusting that a politician would hold to the beliefs that made you want to vote for him. Politicians are just used car dealers with more responsibility. Politicians are paid to lie. They don't give a sh*t about Joe and Jill Six-Pack, they're only out for what benefits them. The only good politicians are dead. Link to comment
