T_O_Bull
It is friggin freeeezzzzin and the only thing south about South Dakota is the fact that there is a North Dakota. The wind blows so hard that you can't go saling, fly a kite or have a good day on a tennis court or a golf course and it is all because our neighbor to the east, Minnesota sucks so bad. But what reaqlly pi$$es me off is that we don't have any Husker fans that have the time to post to this site on Huskerboard. Did you all become Husker Fans due to our great run in the 90ies? And if so then you are just bandwagon trash, go cheer for your F'n Vikings on Sundays and let the real Husker Fans wear RED on Saturdays! If this sounds like I'm callin' you out well that's the first thing in your life that you got right. T_O_B Quote Link to comment

T_O_Bull
Cool. As much as I hate SD it's over shadowed by the fact that I also love it. I grew up in Sioux City, Had my first beer in North Soo and now live in Sioux Falls. We should try to get together for a game some time. Stay in touch. T_O_B Quote Link to comment

T_O_Bull
We live on the east side, close to 26th and Sycamore. Lots of Husker Fans here, some 'real fans' and your usual number of bandwagoneers. We watch games at any one of three spots, Cheery Creek, always a good seat, Buffalo Wild Wings, always has the PPV games, and Rookies, have to get there real early and its noisy. Have heard of another spot south on 57th but will have to wait till next season. T_O_B Quote Link to comment

Yea i've noticed there are a few "fans" there.. most that i've run in to only care about the vikings or twins though.. listened to some idiots last summer talk about how nebraska destroyed the big 12 and how they are a bunch of selfish a$$holes... I turned around and asked him how exactly that was the case, and he had no answer.. haven't been around enough during football season to know if people really know or care much.. but I'm sure as soon as we start winning a lot, the bandwagon will be right back. get huskin!
Ahhhhhh fer chrissakes...! Lived in the central 'Hills' 1978 to 1982, left for flatter regions at 18. 30 years later and just moved BACK and living in the Northern Hills... Just rode up to Belle Fourche (had never been there) coupla weeks ago. Plan to fly my N flag right off the balcony of my apartment on every gameday... Know about Sioux City only because I was raised just outside Salix, Iowa. Seems to me that there are lots of 'husker fans around no matter WHERE you go...! "It's a husker thing... if I gotta expalin it, you likely wouldn't undertand." GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
bshirt
South Dakota is absolutely the coolest place I've ever lived. Low cost-of-living, clean environment, low congestion, no state income taxes, great fishing & hunting, etc......by all means keep dissing it though. It's the nation's best kept secret and I want it to stay that way. Quote Link to comment

MLB 51
So. Where is the best place to go in S.D. Quote Link to comment
bshirt
So. Where is the best place to go in S.D. Well, the Black Hills in the western part of the state are bloody awesome. In the east, there's more big, clean lakes than you can shake a stick at. Even better, there's almost no one on them (thank God). I guess it depends on what you like. Quote Link to comment
