hskerholic
So i want to make a 5foot by 2foot beer bottle cap table using red black and silver beer bottle caps. What I want to do is have a black border with the red huskers cursive script filled in with silver. I am trying to figure out a way to plan the patter out on the computer as a road map. I didn't know if some of you tech savvy guys have any way of helping me out? I figure each bottle cap is a 1/2 by 1/2 quick guess. So the table would be 48 caps wide by 120 caps long. Didn't know if you could take a pic of the husker cursive script and then put a bunch of circles over it and make a pattern? Here is a pic of a block N I have seen done but want a longer table. Will upload pic shortly? Thanks for any help that can be provided! Quote Link to comment
hskerholic
Here is the Block N table. I dont need the black around the husker script but a black border around the whole table! Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
That is amazing! Quote Link to comment

eliot1171
http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/wizard.gas?Phase=1 This might help to get you a template to follow. It takes small pictures and turns them into larger ones (poster/wall sized). Quote Link to comment
hskerholic
Yeah I am gonna have to sit down and look at that. What I think needs to happen is figure somehow how to make the huskerscript almost pixelated so each beer cap is one pixel. Quote Link to comment
eliot1171
Unless you make it significantly bigger than the previous table, it may look odd and jagged. There's obviously a lot more intricacies with the script. Quote Link to comment
hskerholic
Yeah that other table is like 3 foot by 3 foot. The one I want to make is like 3 foot by five foot Quote Link to comment
grahm3
Just a quick little pixelated image... its on a 3x5ish base 119 "pixels" wide (messed up with the number, you could add a row of light grey at the end to center the Logo up) edit... i might also mess with the space between the e and the r so it doesnt touch... k3tchup57
though I am a bit late to the party here I was also considering making a table out of beer caps and was deciding on design and how I would execute it when I happened to find this video (yes I realize its Wisconsin but the execution for a Nebraska table would be similar). I figured that I would share it with the forum if someone else was viewing this thread looking for ideas on a project. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=107ywE-_JzQ Quote Link to comment
