Need a bourbon recommendation Paul, if I want a pretty good bourbon what am I buying? And I don't mean your Jacks & Jims of the world

 

Hudson Baby Bourbon or Angels Envy.

 

Lots of people would throw out Makers Mark, try Makers 46 instead. Newer recipe and I like it better.

 

but Hudson baby Bourbon would be my first choice

not sure if you guys remember me saying that i thought my dog was going to have to be put down, but she seems to have recovered. i still am not entirely sure of how healthy she is or is not, but she is back to her old self. she has an incredible pain threshold, which i think has become a liability.

That's a real tough call. To know when she's in pain to the point where you should end it. Sorry for the fix you're in dude. I hope she remains better, and has a few more good months or even years.

Okay, I have to admit that the stuff I bough isn't technically a bourbon. It's made in Tennessee, not Kentucky. Just like Jack Daniels is technically not a bourbon. But damn, it sure tastes good. :thumbs:

it is pretty incredible, her turnaround. but i have never seen a dog so sick, and with her age. she is resilient and tough. thanks for the kind words.
