Stumpy1
http://www.businessinsider.com/pablo-escobar-and-rubber-bands-2015-9 Pablo Escobar made some serious coin. Wow, just wow: According to Roberto Escobar, the cartel spent an estimated $2,500 a month on rubber bands needed to hold stacks of bills together. At the height of his power, Pablo Escobar's cartel supplied 80% of the world's cocaine and smuggled 15 tons of cocaine into the US per day. Wish he could've sent a couple million my way. No sh#t...He literally had money go to waste because he had some much of it. Quote Link to comment
GM_Tood
The biggest beer merger in history is under discussion The two biggest beer brewers in the world are talking about potentially combining their businesses. Anheuser-Busch InBev, which makes party-friendly beers including Budweiser and Corona, said it is interested in buying SABMiller, the maker of party-friendly Miller Genuine Draft. Anheuser-Busch didn't put a number on the offer — estimates are that the value could be $245 billion — but even the whisper of a deal drove SABMiller's stock up 22%, adding nearly $13 billion to its market value in only five minutes. knapplc
The Hajj has been around for hundreds of years. You'd think they'd have figured out how to handle massive crowds at some point in that span. This seems like an unnecessary tragedy. Quote Link to comment
