huskerXman
Already knew this was going to happen.. This game really means nothing (nationally), hell, the big ten means nothing. Quote Link to comment
mrandyk
This week's matchup doesn't deserve that kind of recognition anyways. None of this year's games will. Quote Link to comment
NUance
NU v Wiscy was on the short list. But tOSU at Sparty is the bigger game. 2 Quote Link to comment

I don't like thinking about it either...but it just seems like since Wiscy has been struggling everyone thinks they're just going to come in here and roll over and die...just like what a mediocre Texas team didn't do. But I don't think the Badgers will have our number like the Whorns did. Some of those UT games, there was just no way they should've won. No way. It was like deja vu of some of those historical games against Barry "I-sold-my-soul-to-the-devil" Switzer. It just pains me to think of them. Quote Link to comment

Some of those games you just had to shake your head and wonder who in Austin was working the controls. I'm just trying to temper my expectations. A little food for thought: Nebraska beat Southern Miss. Southern Miss is 0-3 including a blowout against (gulp) Western Kentucky. Nebraska loses to UCLA, who just lost to Oregon State at home, an Oregon State team that beat Wiscy. Nebraska beats Arkansas State, who has beaten Memphis (0-4) and Alcorn State (1-3) Nebraska beats Idaho State (who is 1-2, the one win vs. football powerhouse Black Hills State And then there's Wisconsin... Wisconsin beats (barely) a 1-3 Northern Iowa team Wisconsin loses to Oregon State who beat the UCLA that beat Nebraska Wisconsin beats a 3-1 Utah State team Wisconsin beats a UTEP team that played Oklahoma and Ole Miss pretty well. I guess I'm just playing a bit of 'Devil's Advocate'. But I don't think either team has really played anyone other than the two PAC 12 teams they both lost to. That said, there should be no reason that the Huskers can't win this game at home. Quote Link to comment
