Polarhusker
Just STOP!!! Osborne was THE WORST EVER when it came to running up the score and YOU KNOW IT!!!!! Time to change your pad. Quote Link to comment

What part of "Osborne did it with 3rd and 4th string players with the occassional cheerleader mixed in" did you not understand? Quote Link to comment
beanman
IF Urban was going for 70 or 80 like YOUR COACH DID ALL THE TIME then he would have had scrubs....us OSU fans know history....... No you don't actually. Like I said, I have no problem with your last TD. NU rarely had starters in with 8 minutes left in games and most of our star players were out before the 4th quarter ever started. Our coach even told an opposing coach which plays he was going to run at the start of the 2nd half once. But you keep believing what you want. Quote Link to comment

tmfr15
What's the difference in one TD. They kicked us right in the split either way. Quote Link to comment
dmdcash
YOU ALL KNOW our D is not great....stop us or quit whining...and that isn't a flame...Brax may be the best talent in CFB.....stop him or lose. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
So I agree the last TD was uncalled for and classes.... I started a forum on elevenwarriors and they disagree. Man Ohio State fans are complete a**holes and I'm sorry that you ever played us because I should have warned you. When we lose heart breakers and beat the opposing team the next time most of the fans are trash. I guess Meyer is too... http://www.elevenwar...yerbret-bielema im not really sure what the dumbasses meant that said we had 2 timeouts left? uhhhh ya so you think if you got into victory formation and kneed the ball we would call our timeouts? what the hell are they smoking? and even if we did call our timeouts who gives a f#*k, then you give us the ball at our own 20 with 45 seconds and a chance for us to only lose by 2 TD's? these guys must not know the game. you can see arguments either way as far as running the ball or kneeing it, but the timeout thing that people keep bringing up is the most retarded thing ive ever heard. Klondike Cat
Here's the problem: 1) Yes it was a run play. No, we didn't stop it. 2) But that's not the point. The point is: that play didn't need to have been called. They were up 18 with the ball, and we weren't going to call a time out if they knelt the ball. So why call a running play in the first place. I understand that we should've stopped them. But the play shouldn't have been called, period. I agree with you for two reasons. 1. It's poor sportsmanship. 2. It creates bad karma. To show class, when you've got it won and can run out the clock, you kneel down. I've seen it time and again when a team gets arrogant and runs it up with unneeded points, it comes back to bite them in the butt. This will gnaw at the Huskers and give them bulletin board material for next time. And other teams who hate Ohio State will see that and get extra motive. We've seen that even in this thread. In a game of inches where you so often need every favorable bounce, it's a bad idea to run up the score, even if you don't care about class. Don't act like Buddy Ryan's Philadelphia Eagles. It doesn't pay. Notice his team never won a championship, despite fielding great teams year after year. Quote Link to comment

3rd and long
To preface: my dad is a Gators fan and Urban backer, and I've had a few That last touchdown sent me over the edge. Did he really have to score again? That resulted in a broken window at my house on the coldest night so far this fall. . Any other damage out there? Or Urban hatred? That little p#%%& that took time off cuz of stress. Man, I hate him It was a run play and we just didn't tackle the guy. take a knee. 99 of a 100 coaches do. He's the one. He'll get his. Maybe not from us, but he'll get it. He's quickly pissing a bunch of people off around this conference. Someone's gonna say to hell with it and take a cheap shot and injure Braxton, then he wont be so tough. I'm just guessing here, but I bet a lot more coaches than you think would have done the same thing. We were spoiled by Tom and how classy he was, but I just don't see any problem with handing the ball off for run play up the middle. If he had run play action and thrown it, thats another story. Bottom line is, we could have stopped him. Doing it with his starters in is questionable though, you're right that if Miller would somehow get hurt in a situation like that, oh man, would they want his head. I just think we have so many more issues to be concerned about after this game than that last touchdown. Quote Link to comment

I bet you didn't feel this way when we beat outmatched Idaho St. 73-7... kneejerk reactions. I normally feel the same way. Just looking for reasons to rag on that prick. Honestly? I thought we shouldve started taken knees against idaho St start of 2nd quarter. Quote Link to comment
bringonUrban
Wouldn't it be more embarrassing if we had put second or third stringers in? To me that's more embarrassing than a touchdown. Quote Link to comment
