Thanks_Tom RR
Nebraska beat Maryland last night 30-9. Wrestle against Rutgers today. Rutgers has some nice wins under their belt this year. They may be pretty tough to beat. I was at the Maryland Dual. Great team win. Nebraska dismantled them. Unlucky lose by Berger. He got pinned during a scramble, then things got chippy afterward. Heartbreaking lose to #11 Rutgers. There were some major upsets in that dual to give them the victory. Nebraska's next six opponents are not going to be any easier: #15 Wisconsin, #17 Minnesota, #1 Penn State, #3 Ohio State, #2 Iowa, #12 Illinois. B1G Wrestling is no joke. 1 Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Great job by the wrestling team! A second place finish at Midlands is a big deal. Each bracket had 32+ wrestlers, and there were about 5 or so Top 25 teams participating. B1G grabbed the top third spots by a large margin, another great look. Here is the link to the full tournament. As I watch the tournament, I might post some thoughts I have here. http://btn.com/2015/12/23/how-to-watch-the-midlands-championships-live-on-tv-online/ Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
This is a great win by the Huskers! I anticipate the Huskers can go 4-2 (including this recent win vs Wisky). If that could pick up a 5th win some how, that will tremendous. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Great win by the Huskers over Minnesota. Big upset from Abidin over Thorn. That was a nice match to watch. The HWT match was also awesome. Quote Link to comment

Huskers44
Started off hot ranked 6th in the nation now. Team looks to be pretty solid With great wrestlers at 133 Montoya, 157 Berger, and 184 Dudley. Will be interesting to follow once we get into duals with all the B1G teams. Iowa, Ohio St., and Penn State are all ranked higher than Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Nebraska is having a great campaign this year so far. Their dual team is stacked with top-ranked Seniors, so we should expect good things from them. Case in point, they gave NC State their first dual loss is almost two years two weeks ago (I think NC State only lost to Virginia Tech last year). Love watching Coach Manning and the boys. Thanks_Tom RR
Just watched this match for the 157 lb Midland Championship. I teach my wrestlers that if you don't want a match to be in the refs hands, keep it in yours, but Berger got hosed in the OT with a no call on the takedown. 1 Quote Link to comment
