I think he should win another Heisman. It's not fair that the only reason he's not the clear cut favorite is our D's ability to keep a team under 40.

Maybe "fair" is not the word I was looking for. I guess I don't understand why voters "deduct points" for Johnny losing games when he is playing at such a high level. It's not his fault we have 2 losses. He doesn't play D. Compare not only his yearlong production to the other candidates, but also his "biggest" game, and it should be no contest.

 

I'll even go out on a limb and say you take the names off each candidate's data, and his "data" is chosen every time.

I absolutely can't do that. He was damn sure better than Colt McCoy. The problem is too many people think it should go to "the best player on one of the best teams." I know I'm biased, but I believe that Manziel is the best player in the country.

After watching NIU, I'd love to see someone like Jordan Lynch win it. He won't because he plays in the MAC, but he put the team on his back in 4th quarter. A lot of fun to watch.

I think Manziel is the best player in the country. He should be the Heisman winner this year. Winston is nipping at his heels and if Florida St wins the ACC, it will be a tough call.

 

Ndamukong Suh should have won the Heisman that year. The 3 candidates that finished ahead of him were great players but you could argue that they were not always the best player on the field in any given game. You can't say that about Suh.
