I do love hearing this stuff but with that said I have never been treated poorly at a road game, in fact I have only been treated really freaking well.

Michigan State. 2012. A lot of sh#t talking. Watched the Michigan State defense swing at Nebraska fans who were just leaving the packed bar.

Like I said...never seen it. Not one thing, nothing. Not a mean word, not a nasty glare nothing at all.

I sort of have a hard time believing that the "MSU defense" took a swing at some Husker fans at a bar. Even if that did happen, doesn't it sound fishy? Like...that there might be more to it?

What does sh#t talking mean? Like, what does that include?

I would have agreed with you had I not gone to Madison in with a few friends when we were in college in 2011. I had been to multiple away games and never really had a bad experience. The fans might not have been nice, but they weren't completely disrespectful. I would also like to preface this by saying that I had multiple friends go to the 2014 game in Madison and have a great time.

However, when I went we drove all night on Friday night and pulled into a Wal-mart at 3 in the morning to get some tailgating supplies and the first thing we hear is "F#*k you, go back to f#*king Lincoln". We chalked that up to drunk college guys after a night of closing down the bars, but then we went to the Gameday setup and have never felt that uncomfortable at a gathering like that. Not a single one of the Wisconsin students/fans would talk to you except to say ef off and go back to Lincoln. Then at the game we had a guy that had to be in his late 50s or 60s turn around the whole game to tell us how big of pieces of crap we were and that we weren't wanted in the Big Ten. Then when the game was over we had to help an elderly Nebraska couple out of their seats because some of the fans we were around wouldn't let them into the isle with one younger fan almost knocking the elderly man down the steps. After getting throttled in the game we went to the bars and a majority of them were charging Nebraska fans a cover, and once you got inside you wouldn't get served. Finally, we tried to get a taxi and they wouldn't stop for you if you had Nebraska gear on. We even had one taxi drive off with its door open because he didn't realize we were Nebraska fans until we opened the door. But I guess they accomplished something, because I won't ever go back to Madison.

There is a bar at MSU that has a row of steps to the front door. The bar was over capacity and we were leaving. Another group of husker fans were leaving at the same time. As we were leaving, players from the MSU defense were waiting to get inside the bar. As we walked out, they were saying sh#t like "f#*k Nebraska" and talking about how the refs threw the game. We were literally surrounded by over a dozen D1 athletes as we wore husker gear. One of the MSU cbs swung at a guy in the group in front of us and stopped an inch from his face. The guy just kept walking. I didn't hear him say a word and quite honestly, he would've been an idiot to say anything in that situation.

Not my first run in with mean fans. Every CU game involved students spitting on us and throwing sh#t at us when we left the stadium. Mizzou does not have nice fans either.

Just cuz you haven't experienced doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Just means you are naive.

Ha!

That is it...I am naive or the luckiest person ever.

I have to ask...were you or anyone with your group acting like buttheads at all?

Honestly we weren't. We were just excited to see a new stadium and see what it was like tailgating in the Big Ten and such. I will say that towards the end of the night we didn't help our case and we did start getting pretty short with them after going through that for the whole day.

Well I can understand that if it was going on all day.

I guess I have been super lucky. That or my impressive build scares people off...I am guess that it is more luck though.

Worst experience was when tmart had his coming out party against Kstate. We were treated like sh#t before the game, after, there were none left in the stadium! Will never forget singing happy birthday to Bill Snyder.

Ya that wasn't a very husker friendly crowd.had a few run its with K state fans over the years.every one is tough until they get punched in the mouth.

So... how is any of this about compliments from opposing fans?

You sound like a ____________ why don't you just __________ and get the ____________ out of here!

Ha!

You sound like a great guy why don't you just help us stay on topic and get the other stuff out of here!

HAHAHA! Well done!

Irony is that I'm off topic at the same time.
