He didn't try that long and it isn't like he was fired, bama just made him a nice guaranteed offer. Plus it isn't like his successor did any better. I can see him taking another run at the NFL IF it's the right situation.

I don't think there is any way that he goes to the NFL. His kind of micro-management style will not fly with professional athletes. Texas I could see happening. The opportunity to turn around a prominent program would appeal to anyone's ego, and seriously, what more does he have to accomplish at 'bama?
