ColoradoHusk Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 I am not sure about Illinois/Indiana, but most states have gotten rid of the toll stands where you throw in a few quarters to pay your toll. They will most likely take a picture of your license plate and then send you a bill from the information on your registration. Quote Link to comment

Which....should be easy. If you're getting there from Nebraska, simply go to the quad cities and take I - 74. Quote Link to comment

There is absolutely no reason to be on I-80 in Indiana if you are coming from Nebraska and going to the Purdue game. Even if you are, it is an extremely short time. IF, you find yourself on I-80 in Indiana for a long time.....stop, let someone who isn't drinking drive. Quote Link to comment

kreutz35 Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 If you take I-88, the tolls are ridiculously expensive (I go to school in Chicago but I live in Nebraska so I've made that drive many times). I-88 alone will cost you $10 one way. Avoid it if you can. As for the Indiana tolls, I have no clue. Sorry. Quote Link to comment

I drove straight through them and didn't hear a thing to this day. I know they take a picture of your plates if you go through the toll without to pass and mail you the bill if you don't take care of it online, but I never got anything. This year I put the reflection license protector over my plates so it will be a blurred photo. No way we are paying tolls. Quote Link to comment
