huskeraddict
The new foul rules are trash, espec for this season - maybe gets better in the future but crap for now. You can't even pin it on the new rules. It's just piss poor officiating. Wonder if the new rules for now kind of lead the way for games to be called poorly just because there isn't a lot of familiarity with them. Could be the case but I doubt it. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
59 FTs in the game. And there's still 8 minutes left to play. Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
The officials have been horrible, but Nebraska is a pretty poor defensive basketball team that this point..... Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
What exactly is the new rule? Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
The sobering reality is Nebraska is still in this game and could very well be winning without all the whistles. Quote Link to comment

huskeraddict
What exactly is the new rule? Eliminating hand-checks and cleaning up block/charge calls. In theory, the changes are good and for the most part games have been officiated well but this game is like the Dr. Frankenstein of the new rule. Score? 82-72 UMass with 7:15 to go Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
A team is more likely to foul while pressing. So why is Miles running a press? Plenty of time to just play half-court defense, and still come back to win... Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Petteway takes to many bad shots.... Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
Jesus, Nebraska's 2-3 zone defense is soft. How do you let the guy at the top of the key penetrate right down the middle? Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Obvi, Shields meant to do that Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
The way they've called the game, that was a foul on the Shields shot.... Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
Jesus, call it both ways if you're going to be egregious with calls. Quote Link to comment
