QMany
Grant Muessel @GrantMuessel12m If Senior Bowl updates from @nfldraftscout are true, Stanley Jean Baptiste's stock is skyrocketing. Possibly a 1st-rounder he says. #Huskers Quote Link to comment
lo country
He knocks out the 40 and it will for sure. With big bodied receivers becoming the norm and TE's who can run, D's need to counter with bigger DB's. SJB fits that mold and then some. Would love to see another 1st round pick! HuskerNationNick
Matt Miller @nfldraftscout 23h Liked Stanley Jean-Baptiste's film quite a bit. Issue was how athletic/fluid he was. This week he's shown well. Rd 1 pick wouldn't surprise Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
Pete Prisco @PriscoCBS 4h @nfldraftscout @FABEWASH31 Second best player on Nebraska defense. Mark Yoho @rockhard4303 3h @PriscoCBS @nfldraftscout @FABEWASH31 second to Randy Gregory? Pete Prisco @PriscoCBS 3h @rockhard4303 @nfldraftscout @fabewash31 Of course LMFAO love it Quote Link to comment
RexIsMyDogg
SJB reminds me of Aquib Talib of the Patriots (except the off field stuff of course) and look how much of a stud Talib has been this year for them. Talib went in the 2nd round to Jon Gruden and the Bucs I believe because of said issues out of KU. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Actually Talib went 1.20. 1 Quote Link to comment

StPaulHusker
Pretty damn amazing if you ask me. 2 Husker CB's that were recruited to other positions, Prince at RB and Stanley at WR, and the potential to have them both be 1st rounders. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
You know for as average as our on the field product has been the last several years, it's really impressive how many guys we're still preparing and sending to the league. 3 first rounders (possibly) in 5 years - with Lavonte and Dennard missing out but being obvious first round talent as well. StPaulHusker
If only Bo and his band of misfit coaches could develop talent. Yeah. Our players are good in spite of the coaches. Only place in CFB where it happens. Quote Link to comment
Ulty
Hey I know some folks are kinda sensitive about pessimistic thoughts these days, but I simply cannot imagine a NFL team using a draft pick on T-Mart for the purposes of being a WR, DB, or kick returner. The guy has never caught a ball, made a tackle, or returned a kick in 4 years of college (I'm sure he did plenty of it on the scout team in 2009 so kudos for that I guess). I hope the kid gets healthy and is successful in whatever he tries to do, and I also hope that he has a strong pro day and gets a shot as a free agent, but the deck is certainly stacked against him. But to prove I'm not a hater: Good luck with the NFL Taylor! Quote Link to comment

kchusker_chris
If only Bo and his band of misfit coaches could develop talent. Worries me they can develop the individual, but not the team. Sound like an assistant that's been promoted 1 spot to high maybe? Quote Link to comment

It's not unprecedented for athletic QBs to get other shots in the NFL at other positions, and there have been many guys that have worked out better than say Eric Crouch. Even Jammal Lord got a shot at safety with the Texans. I hope he gets a shot, and moreso, I hope he can get fully healthy. Quote Link to comment
