Mavric
I've heard things are scheduled at odd hours over there. Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
A lot of stuff is packed into every day, just like at each of the Olympics. Stuff is constantly going on all through the days and evenings for basically two weeks. Some strange scheduling hours naturally result. Quote Link to comment
GM_Tood
Bosnia leading the hotness factor early in the opening ceremony walk in. Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
I like this opening ceremony a lot so far. The map on the floor with the athletes walking out of their home country was a nice idea. It doesn't translate too well to TV since they don't do too many pulled back shots, but in the stadium I'll bet it's fantastic. Also, I'm guessing they're selling roasted stray dog on a stick if people get hungry, so you can't beat that! Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
Team USA once again proving we can make butt ugly uniforms with the best of 'em. The only good thing I can say about them is I've seen worse. Quote Link to comment
GM_Tood
I like the donut chasing the horses.... Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
It was a strange sun, I agree. It makes me wonder if that's a normal way to stylize the sun in Russia. I love the projectors doing their thing on the floor. Fantastic. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Dave Revsine @BTNDaveRevsine 48m The Winter Olympics - 30 countries with their own athletes and 58 with random Americans exploiting obscure loopholes. Interesting. Quote Link to comment

Interesting. This, didn't they say some peeps from Staten Island were competing for some Caribbean country? Like did lots of charity work there and were given citizenship for that Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
Hey, if they're not good enough to compete for us, they might as well compete somewhere else. Quote Link to comment

Hooked on Huskers
Opening ceremony was TREMENDOUS!!! Much more better than 2002 Salt Lake City opening ceremony. Except one minor glitch.......one out of five Olympic circle was partially failed (snowflake stuck), I say Russian's got the right stuff Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
I'm pretty confident in saying that was easily the best Winter Opening Ceremony ever. Very nice, and very much in the spirit of the Winter Olympics in a lot of ways. Quote Link to comment
