hskrfan4life
Nebraska's bullpen had a good weekend, despite the game against Oregon State. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Its always nice to see a good start and I am happy that they went at least 2-2. However, I don't put a lot into the first 8-10 games of the season. They are on the road a lot and it takes time to adjust to playing the game in real time. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
2 more wins than we had at this time last year Quote Link to comment

Also worth mentioning is that there is a difference in taking grounders on an indoor turf field than an actual infield. No matter what people say it takes time adjusting to that and to actually being outside. Warm climate schools have such a huge advantage when it comes to that part of the game. Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
Regardless, walking 11 batters with a veteran pitching staff was disappointing. Plus, building a culture that of plays hard every game which did not happen this weekend. Quote Link to comment
Huskball
To me, Bummer was the biggest let-down this weekend. Oreg. State is a Top 10 team so the runs were less the issue. It was the fact that he only lasted 3 innings. I know it is early, so he'll have his chance to get the rust out soon. Most positive this weekend, was Chance Sinclair (especially if Kubat is still out for an extended period of time). Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Dan Hoppen @danhoppen 39m #Huskers OF Michael Pritchard is the Big Ten's offensive player of the week: 7-14 at the plate, .588 OBP, first career homer. 1 Quote Link to comment
