Creighton Duke
Nothing against you for posting this Bucky, but I am a tad annoyed by the amount of recycled information in this article. I could have sworn that I read the EXACT same one, like, 3 years ago. Quote Link to comment
Redux
4 years to be exact 1-Texas 2-USC 3-Florida 4-Alabama 5-tOSU 6-OU 7-FSU 8-Georgia 9-LSU 10-Michigan 11-PSU 12-ND 13-Miami 14-UCLA 15-Oregon 16-Tennessee 17-Nebraska 25-Wisconsin Nebraska: PROS: strong tradition, amazing facilities and passionate fans. Those 3 things dont guarantee success but they are a nice start. Playing in the Big 12 will afford you the opportunity to compete for a national title and the path is that much easoer if youre in the north division CONS: the Huskers won 3 N.titles under TO in the 90's but the program has slipped over the past decade. The state of Nebraska doesnt produce many high end BCS conference players each year and the sex appeal it had to steal elite talent from the east coast in past decades is gone. VERDICT: Nebraska is a unique place to coach. You have everything in place to win big - except local recruiting base. How big is that hurdle? Significant but not insurmountable. The Huskers are no longer a top 10 job but still very desirable. Quote Link to comment
Redux
It appears the conference change hasnt affected where they rank the Huskers. This was the preseason mag rankings going into Nebraskas final Big 12 year so yeah Id guess they essentially twerked this list a bit and voila. Quote Link to comment
Excel
Nothing against you for posting this Bucky, but I am a tad annoyed by the amount of recycled information in this article. I could have sworn that I read the EXACT same one, like, 3 years ago. No offense taken. Honestly, I did a double take to check the date on their post because it did look really familiar. These are the kinds of lists that the sports media trots out every offseason and they never change much; best coaching jobs, best stadiums, best programs...they're just to drive traffic. We've seen them all before. Just posting because it's the offseason and HB is quiet. Quote Link to comment

Redux
I cheated. I still had a copy of the pre season mag in a desk drawer. I can post the whole list if i would help. Quote Link to comment
Creighton Duke
I'm not really THAT concerned about the list as long as they would update it, but I'm talking about the EXACT same descriptions of some of these places, only really tweaked where it needs to be (description of Florida State, for example). Oh well, they duped me into clicking...twice! Quote Link to comment
