Nebraska:

PROS: strong tradition, amazing facilities and passionate fans. Those 3 things dont guarantee success but they are a nice start. Playing in the Big 12 will afford you the opportunity to compete for a national title and the path is that much easoer if youre in the north division

CONS: the Huskers won 3 N.titles under TO in the 90's but the program has slipped over the past decade. The state of Nebraska doesnt produce many high end BCS conference players each year and the sex appeal it had to steal elite talent from the east coast in past decades is gone.

VERDICT: Nebraska is a unique place to coach. You have everything in place to win big - except local recruiting base. How big is that hurdle? Significant but not insurmountable. The Huskers are no longer a top 10 job but still very desirable.

Nothing against you for posting this Bucky, but I am a tad annoyed by the amount of recycled information in this article. I could have sworn that I read the EXACT same one, like, 3 years ago.

No offense taken. Honestly, I did a double take to check the date on their post because it did look really familiar. These are the kinds of lists that the sports media trots out every offseason and they never change much; best coaching jobs, best stadiums, best programs...they're just to drive traffic. We've seen them all before. Just posting because it's the offseason and HB is quiet.
