Miles gets $250k in Bonuses and a Raise

Recommended Posts

Overall, Miles earned base pay for 2013-14 of $1.525 million before bonuses, making the total take $1.775 million.

His base salary for 2014-15, according to language in his original contract, changed on Tuesday to $1.65 million. That's an 8.2 percent raise.

Besides the $50,000 coaching bonus, Miles got $150,000 for the NCAA tourney bid — the school's first in 16 years — and $50,000 for a top four finish in the Big Ten regular season.

Had Nebraska not blown an 18-point lead against Ohio State in the second round of the Big Ten tourney, Miles would have gained another $125,000 — $75,000 for reaching 20 wins and $50,000 for making the Big Ten tournament semifinals.
