I though 109 was pretty good until I saw the schools I missed - aTm, Auburn, Fresno St.....

I hit 109. I missed some of the MAC schools, couple of Texas schools and a couple Alabama schools

Not fair! I missed at least 30 because mostly due to a slow typist and/or misspelling. With 25min. timer instead of 15, I still missed UTSA, Old Dominion, Navy, Army, App.St., East Carolina, MTSU, Akron, Louisiana LAF, South Alabama, Troy, Temple, UAB, Georgia State, Louisiana-Monroe and Nebrasky . And brain farts, VT and Wake Forrest. Last second rescue, Kent State, San Jose, Marshall and Vandy.

 

I'm surprised. Two MLB, two NFL, one NHL and yet only one FBS team ........ Missouri. However, no NBA franchise (KC Kings & St. Louis Hawks moved a long time ago)

 

Match schools with states. Kent St ? Temple ? Bowling Green ? Troy ? Auburn ? Marshall ? Duke ? Wake Forest ? Vanderbilt ? even Purdue and Notre Dame. My wife flunked all of them . Myself, not an instant answers but a couple of seconds brain delay for a few location state schools. Always had trouble with Kent St (Indiana or Ohio?), Bowling Green (Indiana, Ohio or Kentucky?), Troy (Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee or South Carolina?) and Vanderbilt (Tennessee or Kentucky?).

 

How about name 125 FBS school nicknames without internet search? It's okay and credit KSU Mildcats, Miami Thugs and Texas Bevo Dump.

 

Trivia. Wildcats nickname and purple colors, who's the first, KSU or Northwestern? Fight song tune, who's the first, Yale or OU?

Haha! YES! I couldn't believe it. The Clemson hat I bought while on that trip was sitting on the kitchen table in plain sight. I was so focused on figuring out sun belt and mac schools it just never hit me.

I'm a sucker for hats. I would love to end up with a hat of every school in the "power 5" conferences. Dunno if my wife would go for that in my man cave (when and if that happens itself)
