Danny Bateman
Hey boys, happy we're finally gearing up for another glorious season of football. Last year, had Sunday Ticket through the Madden deal where you get it plus the game for $100. Loved it, even if the quality of streaming it on my computer wasn't as great as the regular version. But still loved watching my Eagles every week and following some of my fantasy guys during big games. This year I can get the same thing but there's no special so it'd be $200 for the same thing (which, stupidly enough, they offer only to people in apartments or on certain college campuses). That's a bit rich for my blood. Anyone got any alternatives? So far I'm thinking: A) Suck it up and don't get it this year sticking to Chiefs and Vikes games. B) Pay $200 for the same service which is a bit more than I want to pay. C) NFL Gamepass, which seems like a higher quality product itself than Sunday Ticket, but unsure how much it would be, how much trouble since it's not regularly offered in the US. D) Hit up Buffalo Wild wings during weeks we play in a non-regional broadcast game. Anybody use anything else or have any advice as to alternatives? Quote Link to comment
OH HSKR FAN
Watch football all day on Sat so you are burned out by Sun morning. Find the website in the Philly area that broadcasts the games over a radio stream. I log into kcfx.com during the season to listen to the Chiefs. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
That's what I did the season before I had Sunday Ticket and I actually liked it. I can't be the only one that likes listening to something and having the imagery in my head instead of on a screen, right? I may end up just flipping back and forth between that and hitting up sports bars when I feel like going out. I wish there was some cheaper alternative to Sunday Ticket, but it would appear DirecTV really has our nuts in a vise on this one, eh boys? Quote Link to comment
OH HSKR FAN
You can try and stream the games online. The quality may not be the best plus you will get a ton of pop ups. Quote Link to comment
C N Red
You could buy tickets to all the games every weekend and make it to as many of them as you can. Quote Link to comment
