The Maudfather
Here it is, game week. This week's line looks really good, IMO. I'll take the heavy doses of AA and some crippling play action for the Huskers in a blowout. Gimme the Huskers to cover and I'll take the over. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Nebraska by 4 touchdowns. Very vanilla game plan, but the defense gets an int returned for a touchdown or a scope and score. Ameer goes for 150+ all basically in the first half. Cross and Newby run wild in the second half. Quote Link to comment
NUance
It wouldn't surprise me to see us not cover the spread. Seems like Pelini plays extremely conservatively at the beginning of the year, not wanting to show anything of our offense or defense until we get into our conference sched or a big game. So I'll say no. But I think we'll still handle the Owls pretty easily. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
over 51, nebraska doesn't cover. Quote Link to comment
Hammerhead
I'll take Nebraska to cover and the over. Maybe I'm being optimistic, but I don't see this being a repeat of the Wyoming game last year (and certainly hope it won't be). Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Huskers cover but the total stays under. 1 Quote Link to comment

grandpasknee
Huskers 43 Owls 13 Pelini plays it vanilla, but Ameer gets his 125+ in the first half and one of the other horses breaks 100 as well in the second half. This game will resemble games we oldsters remember against early season teams. We beat FAU in all ways a team can be beat. Soundly, with basics. Icing on the cake would be to see our players...offense and defense....put the opponent on the carpet, then reach down and help them up for the next play. Over and over again. Quote Link to comment
hskrfan4life
Huskers beat the spread and the total eclipses 51. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
the real question is when do we see backup qbs? do both fyfe and stanton see time? or either? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I hope they each get a series but we need to make sure we have one QB up to speed before we worry about #2 or #3. Quote Link to comment
